YNS Fun Friday
Have you entered the Your Next Stamp July Challenge yet?? There are only a few days left to play along for your chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the YNS Store! A monthly YNS Guest Designer will also be chosen from the challenge participants, so bring your A-game!
How about some inspiration? I've used the sketch (with some minor tweaks) to showcase the Fast Food Fun Burger Die, and the new Fast Food Sentiments. I've tried to make it look like an In-N-Out Double Double, "Animal Style"... because it is the only fast food burger worth eating! If you've never had one, I'm sorry, but you're missing out! :)
All parts of the burger were cut from scraps, and the lettuce was made from ruffled ribbon that I died green with a Copic reinker. The patterned paper was a from a picnic themed pack I found at the Target Dollar Spot a few years ago.

I've made two projects to share today. First up is Lilah... isn't she a cutie?! I've paried her with some flowery paper from the Doodlebug Fruit Stand 6x6 pad, and colored her with Copics. I added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the flowers for some sparkle.

Tuesday Morning Sketch #208
***FOR THE YNS BLOG HOP, CLICK HERE OR SCROLL DOWN***
Hi stampers! Are you ready for another sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches?? For the month of July we are revisiting some older sketches, and this one was originally sketch #169.

Our generous sponsor this week is C.C. Designs... a personal favorite! ;)
I've used Summer Swing Birgitta on my card. She is colored with Copics, except for her dress, which I paper-pieced. I cut her out, and popped her up to look as if she is sitting inside the circle frame. Since my main image and flower were pretty large, I left off the banner on the sketch... it was feeling a little too crowded for me! I used a ruffled ribbon on the bottom, and a sentiment from AmyR Sweet Summer Sentiments.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; DCWV Pink CS; MME Happy Day 6x6;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Circle Nesties; Ribbon; Flowers; Brad; Pop Dots; Copics
Copics:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, YR0000, R30
Hair - YR24, Y26, Y21, E50
Bows - R85, R83, R81, RV000
Shading on Dress - T2, T1
You can see the entire Design Team line up at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog. I hope you'll join us this week!

First up is a new clear set, Ellie Loves Sports. She comes with loads of accessories, and several cute sentiments too! My neice plays basketball, so my Ellie is colored up to resemble her! :)

Next up, I have Ellie Loves Ice Cream... that look on her face is hilarious, and I love the sentiment that comes in this set! I've used some paper from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic pad, because I thought it looked just like scoops of ice cream! Her dress is paper pieced, but that was to cover up the horrible coloring job I did on it originally! I don't know if I mixed up markers part way through, but the sleeves and the bottom of the dress came out completely different shades of pink! Paper piecing was an easy cover up!

TGF Kidz!
Once a year, The Greeting Farm Blog hosts a challenge JUST FOR KIDS! We missed the deadline for the contest last year, so when I told kiddos it was time again, the girls were so excited to play along! My little guy decided to sit this one out... I only have a few TGF stamps, and they are all girls... yuck! :)
They had fun picking through my stash for stamps and papers, using my Cuttlebug, and they even got to try out my Copics!
Olivia picked out Flutter Anya. She liked the Fairy Fhiona card I made a couple of weeks ago, so she decided to copy the colors, and use my leftover flowers for her card. She used Doodlebug papers, and added a bit of glitter to Anya's skirt and wings.
Abigail chose Ruby for her card. (I think Ruby is retired.) She had to have purple (her favorite color!) and asked me to make purple flowers for her to use on her card. She also picked some Doodlebug papers and used a little glitter on Ruby's necklace.
I think it's so neat that TGF does this for kids! We had so much fun making these together, and I know the girls would love to see your comments about their cards! :)
Thanks so much for looking!
