Sketch Saturday #278
It's my last post as Guest Designer for Sketch Saturday, and I'm a little sad it's already over! I've had so much fun with the sketches this month, and this week's sketch was no exception!
I used a sweet new image from C.C. Designs called Twila's Leafy Friends. Isn't she just the cutest? I've colored her with Copics, and matched her with some fall themed paper scraps from my stash. The main image panel is popped up on the card with foam adhesive.

Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, DCWV CS, Patterned Paper Scrap,
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Pop Dots, Copics
Copics:
Skin - E11, E00, E000
Hair - E49, E47, E44, E43, E41
Skirt, Shoes - E44, E43, E42, E41
Shirt, Red Leaves - R59, R39, E37, R35
Orange Leaves - E08, YR18, YR15, YR12, YR00
Greaan Leaves, Grass - YG17, YG25, YG03, YG01
That's all there is to it! I love this clean and simple sketch, and I'm sure I will be using it again!
A big huge THANKS to my friend Deb, for inviting me to be Guest Designer this month! I've loved being a part of the challenge!

Tuesday Morning Sketch #217
***FOR THE YNS SEPTEMBER RELEASE AFTER PARTY CLICK HERE***
It's Tuesday, time for another fun sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!

We are lucky to have Stamp Fairy back as our sponsor this week! They are always so generous in offering images for the team to work with!
I chose to use Barry Peekers #5... I was originally thinking he would fit perfect in one of my polaroid frame dies, but he didn't fill in the height of it very well. So... I just made my own! I cut the square to the size I wanted, and used an x-acto knife to cut out the opening. Instead of flowers across the bottom, I tied on a big bow. I've used my YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies for the sentiment, which is from Lawn Fawn's So Much To Say set.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, TAC Navy Cs, Jillibean Soup - Grandma's Lima Bean Soup PP,
Versafine Onyx Black Ink, Ribbon, YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies, Pop Dots, Copics
Copics:
Fur - E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Nose - E49, E47, E44, E43, E41
Ears - R30, R000
Background - BG01, BG000, BG0000

YNS September Release After Party!!
Have you had a chance to check out the New Release Blog Hop yet?? There is still time to hop along and leave comments for your chance to win one of these adorable new stamp sets!

Today is our After Party, and the Design Team has come up with even more eye candy to inspire you with the newest YNS goodies!
I've whipped up a couple of simple cards using the new Silly Monsters set. These little guys are so much fun! I have about a dozen of them colored up, ready and waiting to be used on more projects!
For the first card, I dusted off one of my poor, neglected embossing folders... I can't even remember the last time I used one! The monster is colored with Copics, fussy cut, and popped up on a circle sponged with Dusty Concord Distress Ink. I also used a couple of dies from the Fishtail/Banner Die Set.

Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Wausau Black CS, Patterned Paper Scraps, Cuttlebug Seeing Spots Embossing Folder,
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Dusty Concord Distress Ink, Circle Nesties, YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies, Pop Dots, Copics

Body - B06, B04, B02, B00, B000
Spots, Horns - V09, V06, V12, V01
Tongue - R22, R20, R000
I love the sentiments that come in this set! So punny and cute!
I used a lot of similar elements on the second card, but changed up the color combo and layout. The patterned papers on both cards are from my scrap bin... yay for using up some of those scraps!!

Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Wausau Black CS, Patterned Paper Scraps, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
Dusty Concord Distress Ink, Circle Nesties, YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies, Pop Dots, Enamel Dot Stickers, Copics

She is colored with Copics and paired with some patterned papers from my scrap bin. I sponged the clouds behind her using the YNS Puffy Cloud Dies as a mask, and Dusty Concord Distress Ink.
