Sketch Saturday Guest Designer!!
I was so thrilled when my sweet and talented friend Debra Miller asked me to be Guest Designer at Sketch Saturday for the month of September! Every Saturday this month, I have the honor of joining the talented Sketch Saturday Team in bringing you inspiration with the latest sketch! I'm super excited, so let's get started!

This week's sketch was designed by Deb herself, and is sponsored another talented lady - Mabelle R.O of Whimsy and Stars Studio! She generously offered a digital image to work with for the sketch, so I chose Alex's Pumpkin.
I thought this paper from the My Mind's Eye Away We Go pad has some great fall colors, so I colored little Alex to match. Sadly, I am lacking in fall themed sentiment stamps, so I just typed and printed the sentiment for this card. It's cut out using my Your Next Stamp Banner/Fishtail Dies.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, TAC Brown CS, MME Away We Go 6x6, DCWV Rust CS,
Printer, Antique Linen Distress Ink, YNS Banner Dies, Pop Dots, Copics
Copics:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, E0000, R30, R000

First Fun Friday of September!
Happy Friday stampers! It's the first Friday of the month, and that means we have a new Fun Friday Challenge starting at the Your Next Stamp Challenge Blog!
Each month, we offer you a sketch and inspiration photo to get your creative juices flowing! Here's a look at this month's sketch and photo...

You can use one for your inspiration, or combine the two, and you have the entire month of September to play along!
I took some elements from the sketch, but simplified it a little, along with the theme and colors from the inspiration photo, to create my card. The lined paper stamp is from the new Smarty Pants clear set, stamped in Memento Summer Sky Ink. Then I traced over the margin line on the "paper" with my Memento Rose Bud Marker. The sentiment and apple are from the A+ Teacher set.

Whimsie Doodles Little Witch
Today is release day at Whimsie Doodles, and I have the honor of guesting with the Doodlelicious Divas for the month of September! There are four new Halloween images in this month's release, and you can find them in the What's New section at the Whimsie Doodles Store.
I've used the new Little Witch digital stamp for my sample today. I love, love, LOVE coloring Whimsie Doodles girlies... they have some of the best hair for Copic coloring! I tried a new-to-me hair color on this cutie (listed below)... what do you think??

So Boo-tiful!
It's review day at C.C. Designs, and the Design Team is bringing you more inspiration using this month's Sweet November stamps...
I've inked up Tish for my card today, and tried something a little different for the skin color... I wanted to give her a pale, icy look (she is a vampire after all!), so I played around with some different color combos, and decided on BV0000, C0, and C00. It's pretty pale now that I'm looking at it again... next time I might try a deeper shade from the BV family...
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Bazzill Licorice Twist CS, Bazzill Jelly Bean CS, K&Co. Halloween Mat Stack,
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, CC Cutters Banner Tags Dies, Circle Nesties, Pop Dts, Copics
Copics:
Skin - BV0000, C0, C00
Eyes - BV0000
Hair, Shoes - 100, T7, T6, T5
Dress, Cape - V09, V17, V15, V12, V01
After coloring Tush, I cut her out and popped her up on the card. The sentiment is from the new Boo-tiful Sentiments Set, but I only used a portion of it... the full stamp says "You're so bootiful to me". It was cut out using the C.C. Cutters Banner Tags Die.
If you head over to the C.C. Designs Blog, you can see all the inspiration from the Design Team. And, you can find all of the August Release stamps and dies at the C.C. Designs Store.
Stay tuned, because previews for the September Release start next week!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
