Space-tacular Background
It's time for Challenge #132 at Your Next Stamp!
This time we want you to create your own background!
I love making backgrounds with Distress Inks, and I don't think to do it very often, so this challenge was a good reminder!
I started by sponging my background with Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, and Broken China Distress Inks. I spritzed it with a bit of water, because I just like the effect! Then, I used the Falling Stars Die to cut out the starry sky, and backed it with some glitter cardstock. I colored the cute astronaut from the Space Boy Stamp Set with copics, and popped him up in the sky.
Supplies: Hammermill 80# Color Copy Cover, Black 100# Cardstock, Pen+Gear Diamond Print Glitter Cardstock,
YNS Black Olive Ink, Distress Inks, Blending Tools, Mini Mister, Foam Adhesive, Copics
Not sure the glitter really shows in the picture, but it looks awesome in real life!
Copics:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, E0000, R30, R000
Hair - E29, E27, E25, E23
Space Suit - C3, C1, C0, C00 and B99, B97, B95, B93, B91
Now it's your turn to create a background! You could use inks, stamps, or even draw it yourself!
I can't wait to see what you come up with!
You have until February 20th at midnight EST to link up on the YNS Blog.

Sending HedgeHugs!
Have you seen the new "FREEBIES" section on the Tiddly Inks Blog??
I was happily surprised to find a few new-to-me images, like this sweet little girl with her hedgehog!
Perfect for a Valentine, or just to let someone know you're thinking of them!
I colored them up with a blend of Copics and Prismacolor Pencils, and arranged the image on a simple layout with some BoBunny Double Dot papers.
Apologies... this one has been on my desk for a couple of weeks, and I've misplaced the list of Copics and Pencils used for coloring.
But, they're CUTE, right??
If you have a Tiddly creation, we'd love for you to share it with us in the Tiddly Inks Facebook Group.
Thanks for stopping by today!

There is still a whole week left to play along in the current challenge at Your Next Stamp!
Our theme is "Share the Love" and I've got some sweet inspiration for you today!
This cute panda from the Love and Smiles set is one of my favorites to color up for a quick Valentine.
I created my background with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Inks, spritzed it with a bit of water, and then cut it with the Heart Panel Die. I placed the stitched heart from the Scrapworks Mini Sunburst Die Set behind the panda, and added a sentiment from the Cool Tag Banner Sentiments.
Copics:
Panda - T8, T6, T4, T2 and C00
Ears - RV000, RV0000
Balloon - RV23, RV21, RV10, RV00
I hope you are inspired to play along!
You have until February 6th at midnight EST to link up for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate!

'Tis the Ski-son!
It's time for our first challenge of the New Year at YNS! The theme is
Shades of Blue!
Easy peasy... just use the color blue on your creation!
My blue paper is from the BoBunny Winter Getaway 6x6 Pad... perfect with this little skier! I created a journaling tag to tuck behind the photo using the Cool Tag Three Die Set. The year was stamped using Blueberry Breeze Ink and the Mini Letters and Numbers Stamp Set.
This cool cat was colored with Copics, and popped up to leave room to adhere a photo of my kiddos right behind him.
Copics:
Cat -T5, T4, T3, T2, T1, T0
Skis - B29, B26, B23, B21
Tongue - R30, R000
I hope you are inspired to find some BLUES in your crafty stash and join the fun!
Our challenge ends Thursday, January 23rd at midnight, EST.
Check the YNS Blog for all the details!

Bright Sunshiny Days!
It's time for another challenge at Tiddly Inks, and although this will be the LAST challenge going forward, it is also a Design Team Call for the upcoming term!
I am linking up my entry to be considered for another term... fingers crossed! I feel like I only just got started!
I created a card using this cute Wryn from the Summer Fun Caravan set.
Not a typical card for this time of year, but after a stressful few days, I needed to create my own sunshine! :)
Supplies: Hammermill Color Copy Cover 80#, Doodlebug Under the Sea 6x6 Paper Pad, MFT Sno Cone Cardstock,
Printer Ink, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Versafine Onyx Ink, Copics, Foam Adhesive,
CCDesigns Sunshine Sentiment (retired), YNS Stitched Rectangles Die Set
I colored her up with Copics, then did some careful cutting... I love to fussy cut, and I think the details in these images really pop when they're cut out!
She is popped up next to the sentiment on a panel sponged with Tumbled Glass Ink.
Copics:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E49, E79, E77, E74
Dress, Shoes - YR02, YR01, YR000
Shells - B02, B00, B000
Now it's your turn!
Remember, this will be last challenge, so let's go out with a bang!
I can't wait to see what you create!
