It's a fun one... Mad for Plaid!

  

I started out with this cute Santa from the Be Merry set, and colored him with Copics. I decided to create a smaller card than I usually do (A1 instead of A2), so that the sentiment banner would fit the width of the card better. I cut out Santa, and popped him up on a background sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The fabulous plaid paper comes from the YNS Winter Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad.

   

   

This would be a really simple one to replicate... I think I'll make more using the different plaid prints from the pad!

I've got a sweet card to share today!

This cute little bunny is one of the newest stamps from Your Next Stamp, called Christmas Cookie.

  

  

I colored the image with Copics, and paired it with paper from an old Recollections 6x6 pad called Sugar Plums. The sentiment is one long strip, but I cut it apart to fit the space next to the bunny. The scalloped background layer is cut using the Stitched Scallop Rectangle Die Set.

I had SO MUCH FUN making this card! I've used the new Holiday Light Strings Dies and Holiday Light Sentiments, and lots of YNS Inks!

   

   

I started by cutting and connecting two of the "strings" from black cardstock, and trimming it to fit the length of my card. I cut the base of the bulbs from gold cardstock, and each of the bulbs is cut from white cardstock, then colored with Copics. Before attaching the lights to the string, I sponged a little ink behind where each bulb would go, for that lovely "glow".
