There is a new challenge at Your Next Stamp, and it's all about STRIPES!

 

I love this coffee cup paper from the Colorbok Homemade Stack, and with the subtle striped background, it was perfect for this challenge!

I did some creative masking, re-drawing, and paper-piecing with the Sprinkles Coffee and Tea set to create a stack of empty coffee mugs.

I love how it turned out!

   

   

The mugs are paper-pieced with some scraps of Doodlebug polka dotted papers, and I added some shading with my Copics. Once I had the bunny fussy cut and adhered to the top of the stack, I thought he needed a little something, so I popped a fluffy pom-pom on his bum! :)

Hey there crafty friends!!

  

It's been a bit, but I'm sure you're used to my comings and goings by now!

We are on our 5th week of staying home, and still adjusting to this new normal... how are you holding up??

  

I've created a cute and simple card today, perfect for a distanced "hello" to a loved one. Gnomes seem to be having a moment, don't they? This one is from the Tiddly Inks Little Valentines Royal Fun Stickers set... lots of cute images in this set for a great price!

   

  

He is colored with Copics, and paired with some polka dot paper from Simple Stories. I added a little sentiment from an old Angel Company stamp set called Tag Tidbits.

Check it out... I even decorated the inside!!

   

  

I added a leftover scrap of paper, and a computer generated sentiment.

Welcome to the February Release Blog Hop!

   

      

This release is full of cute critters and punny sentiments... all the things I love about YNS!

I am showcasing the adorable new Pigs Can Fly stamp set today.

   

 

First up, is the cute pig with the umbrella... I have so many ideas for this little guy!!

For this card, I kept things clean and simple, creating an inked background, and cutting it out with the new Cloud Panel Die (which I can't get enough of!).

  

  

He is colored with Copics, and a little bit of Stardust Stickles has been added to his wings.

I made a second card using the parachuting pig, this time colored with Prismacolor Pencils on kraft.

   

   

I went with a sort of a monochromatic look this time, and added a few clouds using the Puffy Cloud Dies.

I just love his happy face!!

I colored the image with Copics, and cut him out with the coordinating Cheeky Monkey Die Set, then paired him with some papers from Simple Stories. The edges of the papers are inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and cut with the largest Stitched Square Die.

I colored up Hammie making a bit of a mess with his popcorn!

       

  

The background was cut with the new Cloud Panel Die... I think it works for popcorn too! I sponged the base with Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks, and did the same with the Puffy Cloud Dies. I backed the image with a Circle cut from vellum, to help it stand out from the background.
