I really love the Looking Sharp set from last month's release, and I thought this was a good excuse to color up another of the cute critters! I've stamped him on kraft cardstock using Black Olive Ink, and colored him with my Prismacolor Pencils.

For my card today, I colored up the cutie bear from the new Card Buddies stamp set... I LOVE this set!!! 

  

       

I paired him with some paper from the Hugs and Kisses 6x6 Pad, and a partial sentiment from the Woodland Cuties Stamp Set. The heart window that he is peeking through was cut with the Stripe-tastic Heart Dies.

There are multiple faces and sentiments you can choose from in the set, but I couldn't help myself with this combo!!
And how about that awesome background!?! That is the new So Many Circles Panel Die... I mimicked the look of the paper pieced mushroom with red and white layers for the panel.

Today is the start of a new challenge on the Your Next Stamp Blog!!

We are on challenge #115 and our theme this time is OMBRE!

  

I colored up the cute Narwhal from the Totally Narly Stamp Set, and paired him with paper from the Swirly Fun Paper Pad.

After seeing what the rest of the design team created, I feel a little bit like I cheated by using the patterned paper for my ombre element!

   

  

The Narwhal is cut out with the Totally Narly Die Set, and popped up on a circle of vellum cut from the Circles Die Set. I added some Crystal Stickles to the image, and placed a few Pixie Dust Glittered Gumdrops surrounding it.

The current challenge at Your Next Stamp is

We are looking for entries that have anything to do with school or summer... but there is only one more week to play along!

        

With three kiddos, the end of the school year always means lots of teachers to thank! I've made a simple teacher thank you card that would be pretty easy to replicate for mass production if needed!

  

I've paper-pieced the little apple from the Fruity Fun stamp set, and added just a touch of shading using my Copics.

The letters for "teacher' are cut from the Bold Alpha Die Set, and the two sentiments along with it are from Cool Tag Banner Sentiments. I added the border across the top using the Notebook Edge Die and Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die.
