Merry Kiss-mas!!

Hi friends!
Laura here for Day 6 of the 12 Days of Gift Giving!
Today I'm sharing an easy gift using one of my favorite dies, the Treat Topper Die Set.
You're going to need a bag to hold your gift. Here are my favorite options...
These little zipper-seal bags are available in the jewelry section, and I've been able to find them at every big box craft store, and also Wal-Mart. They come in various sizes, but the 4" x 6" bag works best with the die.
I also like the Wilton brand treat bags. This bag is longer, (measuring 4" x 9") and opens up to give room for bulkier gifts.
I've been able to find these at the craft stores in the baking supply section. I have also seen them at my local dollar store in the party supply section... sometimes they even have cute seasonal print options.
The Treat Topper Die is so easy to use... just cut, fold on the pre-scored line, and decorate!
I used a sentiment from Santa Express Train Carts, along with dies from the Whatnot Seasons Die Set and Fishtail/Banner Die Set One.
Now, all you have to do is attach the topper to the bag... you can just staple it on and be done, but I like to attach mine using scor-tape.
Any width will do... I only had 1/4" on hand, so I added a few strips across both sides of the inside.
Remove the liner from the tape on one side, and line up the top of the bag with the center score line on the topper.
Remove the tape from the opposite side, adhere, and you're done!!
This die makes packaging up little gifts and treats so simple! For stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, party favors... I hope you are inspired to use this die for some of your holiday gift giving!
Be sure to stop by the Your Next Stamp Blog each day to see the amazing projects the team will be sharing.

Believe...
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Can you believe that it's already the 1st of December!?! How did that happen!?!
I am not quite ready to accept how rapidly Christmas is approaching, and even though I should be digging out the advent calendar for the kiddos, I am distracting myself with this colorful little creation for the Paperie Ink Blog!

I am crazy for the elephants in the Tons of Thoughts set, and finally got around to coloring one of them up! I did a bit of masking to make this guy look like he is balancing on top of the ball from the set, and colored everything with my Copics.

Fishtail/Banner Die Set One, YNS Gumdrops, Pop Dots, Copics

A Holiday Hello!
It's time for our monthly feature post at Your Next Stamp, and this month is all about Christmas!!
I've had this cute little birdie from Holiday Hello all colored and matched up to these Doodlebug papers for a while, so it's about time I put a card together with them!!
I fussy cut the bird, and popped him up on a Circle Die, bordered with the Stitching Marks Circles Dies. The base layer is cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and the sentiment (from Cup of Cheer) is stamped onto the smallest banner from Fishtail/Banner Die Set One.
Copics:
Bird - BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000

I'm beyond excited to be sharing my first Paperie Ink Design Team project with you today! I am so thrilled to be working with such an amazing artist, some very talented team-mates, and to have the opportunity to play with these SUPER adorable, high-quality stamps and dies!
As soon as I saw the little bear in the Flyin' High set, I knew I wanted to color him up using the "no-line technique"... I have tried this before, but this is the first time I've been happy with the results! I'm think the cute image deserves all the credit for my success!! ;)
I started by stamping the bear with Memento Desert Sand Ink, and then coloring him in with my Copics. The balloons are stamped with Memento Dandelion, Summer Sky, and Pear Tart, and shaded with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor Pencils. All of the images were cut out using the coordinating Flyin' High Die set. The dies are open in the center, making them unbelievably easy to line up and cut out the colored images!
After my images were cut out, I added the balloon strings by poking a couple of teeny tiny holes above and below the arm, feeding the three strands of thread through, and connecting them to the back of each balloon with foam adhesive.
