You Are AWESOME!
It's time for our monthly Design Team Dare at Your Next Stamp!!
With yesterday being International Women's Day, our theme for the dare was to create something to celebrate women, while showcasing some of the newly released products.
I struggled a bit with this one, but came up with the idea to make a cute little stationery set. I make items like this for gifts pretty often, and they always seem to be a big hit! This set includes a small journal, a notepad decorated with some Doodlebug Fruit Stand Paper, and a matching pen. The Ric Rac Border Die was the perfect touch to finishing off the top of the notepad!
I tied it all together with some Doodlebug Twine, and a fun little tag I made using the new Cool Tag One Die Set, and Circles Die Set. The pineapple image is from the Vacation Phoebe stamp set, and I used a partial sentiment from the Magical Unicorn set. The clear stamps are sooo easy to bend to fit across the banner in this die set! I finished it off by adding a couple of green Holly Jolly Sparkly Gumdrops to the ends of the banner.
Copics:
Pineapple - Y38, Y35, Y32, E50
Leaves - YG17, YG25, YG03, YG01
Now head on over to the YNS Blog to see all the lovely feminine projects the team has created!
And be sure to leave a comment while you're there!! One lucky fan will be selected to win a stamp set of their choice!!
Good Luck!

The FABULOUS new release is available NOW at Your Next Stamp!
As usual, we have an awesome, inspirational Blog Hop lined up for you! This just might be the best YNS Release so far... see for yourself!
My first card today features a super fun stamp set called Vacation Phoebe. I adore the Phoebe character, and this set has so many fun elements with it! I included the palm trees and sun from the set, and colored everything with Copics. I even added a sweet little face to the sun from Fun Faces. My layers are cut using the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and I added a Circle Die sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to the background of my beach scene. The word "aloha" is cut from the fabulous new Aloha Die.
Copics:
Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E29, E27, E25, E23
Dress, Shoes, Sunglass Frames - BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000

Sand, Phoebe's Bag - E31, E30, E50
Up next I have a super duper girly card to share!!
Pastel pink, purple, and lots of glitter seemed perfect for this beautiful new Magical Unicorn stamp set.
I colored the unicorn with Copics, and cut it out with the coordinating Magical Unicorn Die Set. I cut a few of the stars from the die set to scatter near the unicorn, and covered the hair and stars with lots of sparkle using my Wink of Stella Cear Glitter Brush Pen.
Copics:
Purple - V06, V15, V12, V01
Pink - R85, R83, R81
White - C0, C00, BG0000

Frog Princess (YNS Sneak Peek Day!)
Guess what???
It's time for some sneak peeks of the March Release at Your Next Stamp!!
I have a very pink card to share with you using the adorable new Little Darling Frog Princess stamp set...
I just had to pair her up with this cute frog paper from the Doodlebug Sugar and Spice 6x6 pad! She is colored with Copics to match the paper, fussy cut, and popped up on a Circle Die sponged with Memento Angel Pink Ink. The pretty scalloped circle behind that is the largest die from the Doily Trio Two Die Set. Last, I stamped the sentiment onto the smallest die from the Fishtail/Banner Die Set One, but rotated it to cut both ends of the banner.
There are lots and lots of new goodies to see, so be sure to head on over to the YNS Blog for links to all the designers with sneak peeks waiting.
And join us again at 10pm EST on Saturday, March 5th for our New Release Blog Hop!
See you then!!
