C.C. Designs January Release Blog Hop!!

Today is the official RELEASE DAY for all of our new JANUARY products!! As you have seen from our Preview Days, all of these items are perfect for Valentine's Day and all those lovey dovey cards! You can view the entire release HERE!

As we mentioned all our stamps going forward will be CLEAR! We have 8 adorable clear stamps, 1 Smoochie Sentiments Clear Stamps, Circle Layering Dies, Make A Card #12 Die, Smoochie Enamel Dots, and 1 new Smoochie 6x6 Paper Pad.

I colored up the very sweet Love Lucy for my card today. I wanted Lucy and this gorgeous frame from the new Make-a-Card Die Set #12 to really stand out, so I made a very simple black and white card to show them off! The polka-dotty paper is from the Smoochie 6x6 Paper Pad, which I am loving!! It is full of cute prints and lots of pink... so fun!!

Have you been catching the awesome previews for the January Release on the C.C. Designs Blog??

I am so excited about this!! Clear stamps a real space saver, and it makes stamping sentiments a million times easier!!

Today I've colored up an adorable little cherub from the new Roberto's Rascals Cupid set... isn't he sweet?! I've paired him with paper from the new C.C. Designs Smoochie 6x6 Paper Pad... it coordinates perfectly!! I cut my card base using the Big Scalloped Squares Die Set, and I've also used the Squares #1 Die Set.

Happy New Year, crafty friends!!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with your friends and family!

I had a relaxing couple of weeks just hanging out with the kiddos, but now that they are back in school, I'm getting back into my crafting routine!

I am kicking off 2016 on the Paperie Ink Blog today with a cutie patootie from the Tons of Thoughts set. I paired it with the balloon from the Flyin' High set (stamped in Memento Lady Bug Ink), colored both images with Copics, and cut them out with their coordinating dies.

It's all about winter for today's Feature at Your Next Stamp!

I've had Penguin Buds stamped and ready to be colored, and this was the perfect opportunity to make these cute buddies into a card!

I went with a pretty simple monochromatic color scheme, so these little cuties would stand out. The papers are from the DCWV Winter Basics Stack. I've cute the rectangle layers with my Stitched Rectangle Dies, and added stitched detail to the polka-dot strip with the Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die. The sentiment was stamped onto the stitched circle from the Open Scallop Circle Die Set.

Cozy Christmas Tree

It's week 2 of challenge inspiration on the Your Next Stamp Blog, and I've once again used the sketch as my starting point...

...but this time, I've stretched the layout to fit a standard A2 card...

I used the beautiful tree image from the Cozy Christmas Jessica set, colored it with Copics, and popped it up in front of a few layers cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I also added a splash of glitter to the star and garland using my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen. It's always so hard to get a photo showing how sparkly the Wink of Stella is, but I tried...
