YNS January2016 New Release Blog Hop!!!
Happy Release Day!!!

I'm so glad your joining us for another FABULOUS release at Your Next Stamp!!
We have lots of fun new goodies to show you, so I'll get right to my projects!
First up, I've used the new Birthday Phoebe set.

I love Phoebe, and I love the versatility of this set!
I've been practicing the "No-Line" coloring technique again... this is my first try at coloring a person, so please be kind!!
I started by stamping Phoebe with Memento Angel Pink Ink, and the balloons are stamped with Memento Angel Pink, Lulu Lavender, and Dandelion Inks to coordinate with the Copics I used to color them in. Then I cut everything out, added some balloon strings, and popped it up in front of one of the Stitched Ovals Dies. The patterned paper is cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
Copics:
Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E59, E37, E35, E33
Dress, Shoes, Purple Balloon - V09, V06, V15, V12, V01
Yellow Balloon - Y08, Y06, Y02, Y0000
Pink Balloon - RV17, RV14, RV13, RV21
Up next, as I promised yesterday, I'm sharing Sports Fanatics Two!

I created a simple 6x6 layout using the adorable soccer ball from the set. I'm loving how perfectly these sets coordinate with the new Doodlebug sports themed papers!! The collection I used here is called Goal!
Copics:
Ball, Arms - T2, T1, T0
Eyes - BG000, BG0000, C00
Shoes - YG17, YG25, YG03, YG01
As usual, we have a FABULOUS prize for one lucky hopper!!
Just leave a comment on each blog along the hop, and you'll be entered to win a $20 YNS Gift Certificate!!
And how about a sale, too??
Check out the special new release offer...

That's all from me!

Slam Dunk!
Are you ready for some sneak peeks of the AWESOME release happening at Your Next Stamp this month???
I am so excited to show you the new Sports Fanatics One stamp set... *spoiler alert* ... this is one of two Sports Fanatics sets being released this month!!!

Such a fun set, and you know I'm a sucker for those punny sentiments!!
I inked up the basketball in the set, and paired it with this fun 6x6 paper pad from Doodlebug called Slam Dunk. A perfect match, don't you think?? It even has paper that looks like the texture of a basketball, so I used that to paper piece my image. :)
I cut it out, and popped it up in front of some vellum. The vellum and black frame were cut using the Circles Dies, and the patterned paper is cut with the Stitched Squares Dies. The sentiment is stamped onto a cut from the Fishtail/Banner Die Set One.
Supplies: Hammermill 80# White CS, Wausau 80# Black CS, Doodlebug Slam Dunk 6x6 Pad, Clear Vellum,
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Pop Dots, Copics (T5, T4, T3, T2, T1, T0, R20)
Now head on over to the YNS Blog for links to all the Designers that have a sneaky peek waiting for you...
And be sure to join us back here tomorrow for the big New Release Blog Hop!!!
See you there!!!
Red, White, and Pink!
I did a little coloring... just for FUN!!
It's been a long time since I have made anything outside of my design team work!
I came across these cute stamps from Stamp Anniething a few months back, and I've fallen in love with them! They are really fun to color, and I have huge wishlist! So, when they posted their first challenge, I knew I had to play along!!
The theme is Red, White, and Pink, so I colored up sweet Melanie - Need a Hug, and paper pieced her dress with some Doodlebug paper that was perfect for the challenge!
Supplies: Hammermill 80# White CS, Colorbok Red CS, Doodlebug Lovebirds 6x6 Pad, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
YNS Stitched Rectangle Dies, Ribbon, Copics
Copics:
Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E59, E37, E35, E33
Bow, Shoes - R39, R29, R27, R24, R22, R20
Shading on Dress - T1, T0, C00
That's all I have to share with you today!
