Phoebe's Valentine
Hi crafty friends!
We've been battling germies in my house, so I haven't done much in the way of crafting in the last couple of weeks, but I'm back today to share some inspiration for the YNS Challenge!
As usual, we have a sketch and a color combo for you to choose from...

... use one for your inspiration, or combine the two for the ultimate challenge!
And, as usual, I opted for the sketch this week. I colored up Phoebe from the Phoebe with her Wagon set, and turned it into a cute Valentine card by adding sentiments from Lovestruck, and placing a heart from the Outline Hearts Die in Phoebe's hand. I also used a few of my favorite go-to die sets... the Stitched Rectangles, Circles, Stitching Marks Circles and Fishtail/Banner Set One dies.
Supplies: Hammermill White 80# CS, Neenah Desert Storm 80# CS, Colorbok Red CS, DCWV Citrus Mat Stack,
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Versafine Onyx Ink, Pop Dots, Copics
That's all for today!
Fingers crossed that these germs are on their way out of my house, so I can get back to enjoying my crafty time!! :)
Have a wonderful weekend!!!

It's my turn to share some inspiration over on the C.C. Designs Blog today!
I've colored up the adorable Aimee and Valentino stamp from this month's new release. Aren't they the cutest couple?!
I paired them with some papers from the new Smoochie 6x6 Paper Pad and popped them up on a circle cut from the new C.C. Cutters Circle Dies. My simple card is finished off with some ribbon, and some Smoochie Enamel Dots in each corner.

Your Next Stamp January 2016 Release!!

Welcome to the YNS January Release Blog Hop!!
I'm so glad you're here! There are soooo many amazing new stamps and dies to show off, so let's get right to it!
I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw it, and I think you will, too! This is Froggie Love...

Aren't they "toad"ally adorable?! :)
The hearts are cut from the new Outline Hearts Die, popped up, and scattered on the card. I also used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the layers of the card.
Here is a close-up look of the colored froggie... I decided to try the "no-line" techique to color him in, and I love how it turned out! Instead of my usual black ink pad, I used Memento Pear Tart, since it was a pretty close match to the Copics I wanted to use, and as a result the lines are almost unseen.
Copics:
YG17, YG25, YG03, YG01, YG21
This next cutie was also a blast to color! Here is Little Darling Archer...

Just look at all that hair!!
I used the Stitched Rectangles once again, along with the Circles Dies, and Stitching Marks Circles Dies. She is colored with Copics, and I added some sparkle to the gold trim on her dress using my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.
Copics:
Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E09, E08, YR18, YR07, YR04, Y35
Dress - BG09, BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000

Love to Plan - Sneak Peek!!!
It's time for the YNS Design Team to share some sneak peeks of this month's release!!
Are you ready?!?
I am sooooo excited about the set I'm showcasing today, and I'm hoping for many more like this to come!!
This is Love to Plan...

I have always used a planner, and this trend of stamping in planners is one I couldn't resist!! I also love these small scale stamps for decorating calendars, and making stickers with my kiddos!
I used this new set to get my February month-at-a-glance all set up for my planner...
This is just a simple calendar that I designed and printed myself (I also print my own weekly planner pages... I'll share more on that soon!). I like a very clean slate to start with, and I can add color with inks, markers, washi tape, pictures, and stickers. I was really thrilled with how this page turned out until one of my team-mates pointed out that it's a LEAP YEAR!!!! Oh my gosh, I'm going to have to scrap this and start over!! Sure, I could just write a little number 29 in the box, but the perfectionist in me would cringe every time I look at it! :P
For now, let's just ignore my major mistake, because I want to show you some of the fun details on this page...
I used the new Outline Hearts Die to cut several little hearts for my page. I inked all of the edges with a charcoal grey ink.
I used the Banner Die Set to cut a post-it note, and stamped it with the "NEED TO CALL" stamp. I love doing this for quick notes or reminders in my planner. Because post-its are thin, it works best to cut 4 or 5 at once.
This set has so many cute icons to choose from! I used the heart and arrow to mark Valentine's Day on the calendar, and colored it in with Copics.
I also marked off a vacation week in the middle of the month using washi tape, and added a little arrow I created with the smallest banner in the Seasons Die Set.
That's all I have to share for today, but if you head on over to the YNS Blog, you'll find links to all the designers who have a sneak peek waiting for you!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Sending Smiles
It's time for week 2 of inspiration for Challenge #30 at Your Next Stamp.
We have a fun sketch and color combo...

Will you challenge yourself with just one, or both of these??
I used just the sketch today... the elements on the top and bottom of the sketch seemed perfect for creating a little scene on my card. I was originally going to do grass across the bottom, but another layer of puffy clouds was a much better fit with this cute image (from Rainbow Fun Waddles).
Supplies: Hammermill White 80# CS, Neenah Desert Storm 80# CS, Lawn Fawn Cloud Border Dies, Doodlebug Papers,
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, YNS Waddles Rainbow Fun (image) YNS Woodland Cuties (sentiment), Pop DOts, Copics
Copics:
Waddles - T10, T8, T6, T4, T2
Basket - E44, E43, E42, E41
Hearts, Patch on Balloon - R39, R29, R27, R24, R22, R20
Shading on Balloon - T1, T0, C00
