Tuesday Morning Sketch #157
Are you ready to be inspired this Tuesday morning? Melissa has come up with another fabulous sketch for you to work with this week! Take a look...

Not only is there a great sketch this week, we also have a fantastic sponsor...
My card for this week's sketch is very clean and simple. My sister found this cute Sandylion stamp set at a local stamping store, and left it for me to play with! (Thanks Julie!!!) I used the adorable stuffed bunny from the set, and paper pieced it with blue polka dot paper. I added a stitched border around the Kraft panel to mimic the stitching on the image, and threaded a few tiny buttons on as well.
Supplies: Sandylion Clear Girl set; Versafine Onyx Ink; Hammermill White CS;
Bazzill Ocean Breeze; Neenah Desert Storm; Paper Piercer; Thread; Buttons; Pop Dots
I would also like to enter my card in the Card Crafter's Circle Challenge #33 - CAS (Thanks Bonnie!!)
I hope you are inspired to play along with this week's sketch! Be sure to link up your creation on the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog before Sunday night to be entered to win the prize from our sponsor! I can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs
This card took me ALL day to make... it's just been one of those days! And now, I'm not even sure I like it... it feels like it has too much going on... I dunno!
Anyway, I used this cutie from the Crafter's Companion S.W.A.L.K. line, called Hugs. I colored her with my copics, and paper pieced the dress and bows with some scraps I had lying around. I did a little zig-zag sitching between the two patterned papers, and used foam adhesive under the image and sentiment to pop them up.
So what do you think? Too much? Not enough? I still can't decide!
Supplies: S.W.A.L.K. Hugs stamp; TAC sentiment stamp; Grass Blades stamp (Lil Inker Cutie Cat set);
Hammermill White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Bazzill Maltball CS; Scraps (Basic Grey I think)
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Memento Bamboo Leaves Ink; Palette Claret Ink; Pop Dots;
Paper Piercer; DMC Floss; Circle Nestabilities; Copics
Copics Used:
Skin - E21, E00, E000
Hair - E37, E35, E33, E31
Cat - W5, W3, W1, W0
Grass - YG67, YG63, YG61
Shadows - W5, W3, 0
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Crafter's Companion Challenge - Anything Goes
Crazy 4 Challenges - Stitching
Your Next Stamp - Anything Goes
Loves Rubberstamps - Paper Piecing
Thanks so much for visiting today! I hope your card making time went better than mine!
Tuesday Morning Sketch #156
Happy Tuesday everyone! It's time for another great sketch from Melissa at Tuesday Morning Sketches! Check it out...

Our generous sponsor this week is Doodle Pantry! They have so many fun images, some of them even include coordinating digital papers and sentiments, like the one I used for my sample, Quirky Crab. And this is a first for me... I used the pre-colored version! I just couldn't resist how well it matched the included digital paper, and it made the card come together so quickly!
Supplies: Doodle Pantry Quirky Crab; Hammermill White CS; Bazzill Ocean Breeze CS;
Bazzill Caribbean Breeze CS; Bazzill Tangerine Blast CS; Circle Nestabilities;
Versamagic Sahara Sand Ink; Tumbled Glass Distress Ink; Cuttlebug Polka Dot EF;
Fiskars Boundary Waters Border Punch; Pop Dots; DMC Floss
The image and digital paper are printed on Hammermill Color Copy 80# Cardstock (this is my new favorite for Copic coloring, and it works great with digital prints). I inked the edges of some of my cardstock layers... Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on the light blue cardstock, and Versamagic Sahara Sand on the digital paper. Overall, this was a very quick and simple card!
My card is also being entered into the following challenges:
Doodle Pantry #25 - Use a Doodle Pantry Image
Oozak Challenge #4 - Bright Colors
Make It Monday #99 - Anything Goes
Now head over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog to see the incredible eye candy the Design Team created for you this week! And I hope you will be joining the fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
