I LOVE this sketch, and think I will be using it again and again! So simple, but so many possibilities!
For my sample today, I flipped the sketch to fit the image I was given by our FABULOUS sponsor, Doodle Pantry. It's called Candy Corn Ants, and isn't it cute?! I found the Candy Corn ribbon at Michael's just after receiving the image... what luck! Aren't they perfect together?!

This month's challenge theme at the Crafter's Companion Challenge Blog is "Friendship", and there are only a couple of days left to play! I had every intention of getting this card done earlier in the month! I've had this sweet Best Friends image stamped and waiting to be colored and put on a card... but the inspiration just didn't hit me until yesterday! That's when I saw the new Photo Inspiration Challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps...

Isn't that a pretty cake?! I love the colors!! So, I dug through my paper stash to find something that would match, and got to work. Here is the result...

Tuesday Morning Sketch #161
It's that time again sketch fans! Melissa has another great sketch up and running at Tuesday Morning Sketches! Take a look...

Our amazing sponsor this week is Raisin Boat! Kim and Bobbi were incredibly generous to the Design Team, and sent us each a different set to work with for the sketch! And the best part?? The winner of this weeks sketch will get to choose their favorite from the sets we feature as their prize! How FUN!
I was lucky enough to get to play with this set called Frosted Frights...

Isn't it so cute?! And with Halloween just around the corner, this set will come in handy! I had a tough time deciding which cupcake I wanted to "make" for my card, but finally decided on the spider. The wrapper is paper pieced with some free digital paper I found with a Google search. If you like it, you can download it here. I had a little fun with the sentiment... since clear stamps are flexible, I curved the sentiment as I stuck it to my acrylic block. I thought this was fitting with the image.
Supplies: Bazzill Grape Delight CS; Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Halloween Digital Paper;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Paper Piercer; Black Thread; Button; Ribbon; Foam Adhesive Dots;
Cuttlebug Spiderweb Embossing Folder; Copics
Copics Used:
Spider - T7, T6, T5, T4, T3
Nose, Cake - YR18, YR15, YR12
Eyes - YG03
That's all for today! If you haven't already, check out the line up from the Design Team at Tuesday Morning Sketches! I hope you'll play along this week!
