24 Carrot Friend!

It's time for our monthly feature day at Your Next Stamp, and we have something a little EGG-stra special for you this time!!! We are giving you an early sneak peek of the upcoming March Release!!
This release is so FABULOUS, we just couldn't keep it to ourselves any longer!
I've used the awesome new Easter Goodies Sentiment Set for my project today... it coordinates with the previously released Easter Goodies Die Set!
I have so much fun making special holiday treats for my kiddos, their friends, and teachers, and this set is perfect for some Easter and Spring themed treats!
I found this cute package of Reese's Pieces... I love how it's shaped like a carrot!
I cut one of the Stitched Fishtail Tags Two Dies out of a carrot print paper from the Doodlebug Springtime 6x6 pad, then added a strip of coordinating paper across the center, and used the Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die to create the stitched border.
The circle is cut from the Circle Dies Set, and I stamped the sentiment on the top and bottom of the circle... the clear stamps make it SOOO easy to get the sentiment placed exactly where you want it!
Next, I cut the two carrot shapes from the Easter Goodies Die Set out of green and orange papers, and just trimmed the green to fit the top of the carrot. Then I just popped them up, one on top of the other.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Doodlebug Springtime 6x6, Versafine Onyx Ink, YNS Circles Dies, YNS Easter Goodies Dies,
YNS Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die, YNS Stitched Fishtail Tags Two Dies, Ribbon, White Scrappers Floss, Pop Dots
As always with our Feature Day, there is a little giveaway on the YNS Blog!
You'll need to head over there and leave a comment for your chance to win a YNS Stamp Set of YOUR choice!
Good luck!

Teddy's Balloons
Happy Friday crafty friends!
I wanted to share my latest Paperie Ink creation with you today... I had a lot of fun with this card!
My daughter has a favorite stuffed friend named Teddy... a big yellowish brown bear that wears a red bow-tie. When I saw the bears in the Baby Bunting set, I immediately thought of Teddy. So, I used the bigger of the two bear images to make a simple card for her.
I wanted the color of the Teddy on the card to match her actual bear as closely as possible, so I used a combination of Copics and colored pencils to get it right. I stamped two balloons from the set using Memento Ladybug Ink, and then shaded them with Copics... I love how it turned out! I've never tried the "no-line coloring" technique, but I'm thinking I'll have to make a go of it after doing this! The images were all cut out and popped up, and then I added a bit of Black Scappers Floss for the balloon strings. I wrapped the ends of the strings around a toothpick to give them a little curl.
I finished off the card with a couple of vellum clouds.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Simple Stories Sn@p! 6x6, Vellum, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Memento Ladybug Ink,
Black Scrappers Floss, C.C. Cutters Make-a-Card #2 Die, YNS Puffy Cloud Die, Pop Dots, Copics, Prismacolor Pencils

Nose - E23, E31
Ear - R30, R000
Bow, Balloons - R59, R27, R24, R22, R20

It's Inspiration Thursday in the Little Miss Muffet Facebook Group!
Little Miss Muffet is celebrating it's 4th Birthday this month, and there are some new birthday-themed images in the LMM Store! Be sure to have a look!
I've colored up the lovely new Celeste Amberglow Cupcake Party.
My daughters will celebrate their 8th birthday next month, and this cutie reminds me a bit of Abigail... it's missing eye-glasses, but Abi loves to wear her hair in braids just like this! She also loves bright raindow colors, so I colored up the skirt to match this rainbow striped paper from the Doodlebug Fruit Stand 6x6 pad.
I used a chipboard sticker number, and pieced together the rest of the sentiment from a couple of YNS sets.
Supplies: Hammermilll White CS, Bazzill Gummy Bear CS, Doodlebug Fuit Stand 6x6, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
Chipboard Number Sticker, YNS Gumdrops, Pop Dots, Stardust Stickles, Copics
