Soar Like Never Before
I'm back with more Two Paper Divas inspiration for you!
I am having so much fun with the You are my Sunshine set! This time, I colored up the kite and bows... The set also includes a line stamp to be used as a string for the kite, but I wanted to pop it up, so I used black scrappers floss for the string on my kite.
I colored it with Copics to match this cute paper from Colorbok's Hootenanny 6x6 pad. The sentiment is stamped onto a piece of vellum, and wrapped around the card.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, MFT Sno Cone CS, Colorbok Hootenanny 6x6, Vellum, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
Stazon Jet Black Ink (sentiment), Pop Dots, Scrappers Floss, Copics
Copics:
Pink - RV25, RV23, RV21
Orange - YR04, Y38, Y35, Y32
Yellow - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
Green - YG17, YG25, YG03, YG01
Another simple design, but I love how the kite pops off the card!
That's all for today!

Bookworms Rule - YNS Sneak Peek!
Today we are sneak-peeking some of the new goodies that will be released TOMORROW at Your Next Stamp!
We will be having our usual blog hop tomorrow, but in the meantime, you can head over to the YNS Blog for links to all the designers that have a sneaky peek for you!
I am very excited about my project today!!
Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE making lists?? It's weird, I know...
I also love to have pretty places to write my lists. Whenever I hit the Dollar Store, or Target's Dollar Spot, I always look for simple notebooks or journals that can be altered into something fun.
On my last visit to my local dollar store, I found some basic spiral bound notepads with a plain kraft cover.
A perfect blank slate, and the 5x7 size is plenty of room to decorate all cutesy!
So... I bought every single one on the shelf... I know... I need help...
But, one of these notepads paired with the adorable new Bookworms Rule stamp set... and now I have a nice little notepad to list all of the books that my kids and I want to read!
We visit our local library about twice a month, and between visits, I need a place to jot down the books that the kids mention. This is WAAAAY better than the post-it notes on the fridge, calendar, and in my purse method we have been using up till now.
For the cover, I used the new Stitched Rectangles Dies (LOVE!!!) and the large sentiment from the Bookworms Rule set. I highlighted the larger words with two different colors of Copic Markers (BG10 and Y23). The strips of patterned paper are from October Afternoon Sidewalks, and I've inked them with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I didn't want to add too much bulk to the cover, since it will be in and out of my purse, so I just embellished it with a large chipboard heart.
On the inside of the back cover, I created a little pocket for my library card. I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and cut out a notch with the Circles Dies, and added the stitches with the Stitching Marks Die Set - Circles. The pocket is attached with scor-tape.
I LOVE how my notepad turned out!! And now I'm off to start my list!! :)
Enjoy the sneak peeks, and thanks for stopping by!
Just Peachy!
TGIF!!!
I've got some inspiration for the YNS Sketch and Color Challenge today.
We've got a fabulous sketch for you to work with...

...or this lovely color combination...

As always, take your pick, or combine the two for your inspiration.
I was drawn to the colors this time around, specifically the softer peach and turquoise colors. They look so pretty next to each other!
I used the Fruity Fun set to make a simple card, and added some stitches with the Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Doodlebug papers, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Pop Dots,
Copics (YR65, YR61, YR00, YR000, YR0000, E59, E57, E55, YG25, YG03, YG01)
Lots of inspiration awaits you over on the YNS Blog... be sure to have a look!

Cream of the Crop
It's time for a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet, and it's a favorite...
ANYTHING GOES!
I just had to color up another newer Polka Dot Pals image, Danielle. I love her long twisted braids!
The card is pretty simple... I used some scraps from my Simple Stories Summer Fresh pad, and inked all of the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp - Howdy Farmer, and I actually cut it apart to work for the space on my card! When I stamped the three separate lines of the sentiment, I wasn't happy with the placement... it came out a bit too high. So, to fill the space I cut a small heart from chipboard, and centered it underneath. Problem solved!
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, Simple Stories Summer Fresh 6x6, Versafine Onyx Ink,
Antique Linen Distress Ink, Chipboard, Pop Dots, YNS Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die, Copics
Copics:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E59, E37, E35, E33
Overalls - B99, B97, B95, B93
Bows, Cuffs - R59, R29, R27, R24, R22
Wheat Stalk - Y28, Y26, Y21
Shirt - T1, T0
Now it's your turn!
You have two weeks to play along, and there is a prize to be won!

To the Moon
Hello, Hello!
I am very excited to be Guest Designing for Two Paper Divas for the month of April!!
If you aren't familiar with TPD, it is a sweet little shop offering a cute variety of digital and clear stamps.
When I first looked through the store, I was immediately drawn to the You Are My Sunshine set!
I can't wait to use all of the cute images in this set!
For today's card, I stamped two of the hot air balloon images, and paper pieced them with some polka dotty scraps from various Doodlebug paper pads. I wanted the balloons to really take center stage on the card, so I went with a smaller 4 Bar size base (3.5x5). Then I sponged clouds onto a smaller panel using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, and popped the balloons up with foam adhesive. I really love the sentiments in this set... I think they are fitting for a variety of occasions!
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Wausau Black CS, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink,
TPD You are my Sunshine Stamp Set, Pop Dots, Copics (E47, E44, E43, E42, E41 and T2, T1, T0)
I will be back throughout the month with projects featuring more of these cute stamps...
