One in a Melon
I have a sweet treat to share with you today, and it features a sneak peek of the June new release at C.C. Designs!
This is Millie, a new cutie patootie from Pollycraft.
Adorable, isn't she?
My kiddos LOVE watermelon, and anything watermelon flavored... lip glosses, candies, even the girls shampoo is watermelon scented! So, of course I had to have Millie for some cute, punny watermelon projects!
I've colored her with Copics, and paired her with a sentiment from the new AmyR Pool Party Sentiments Set. The bag topper is cut from my Your Next Stamp Treat Topper Die Set, and is attached to a bag filled with gummy watermelon flavored candies. YUM!!
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Doodlebug Hello Sunshine 6x6. Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Pop Dots, Copics
Copics:
Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E49, E27, E25, E23
Watermelon, Polka Dots - RV25, RV23, RV21, RV10
Rind - G16, G02, G000
That's all for now!
I have another June Release Preview to show you tomorrow, and then the entire New Release will be available at C.C. Designs on Thursday, June 4th at noon! In the meantime, be sure to check out the C.C. Designs Blog for more previews!

Rain or Shine
Hi there!
I'm popping in real quick to share a card with you today... I've had Little Cloudy sitting on my desk for days, but just haven't had a chance to put her on a card until today!
Isn't she cute? She might be my favorite from the May Release, but it's so hard to pick just one!
I've colored her with Copics, and cut her out with the coordinating Little Cloudy Outline Die. The sentiment is from AmyR Rainy Day Sentiments, and I've embellished the card with some cut outs from the Lawn Fawn Spring Showers Die Set.

CASEing Julie!

It's time for our monthly feauture at Your Next Stamp! I think this has been my favorite feature post theme so far... the designers were asked to CASE (copy and share everything) one of our team-mates! SO FUN!!!
I knew right away what I wanted to CASE! I pinned this card made by Julie a couple of months ago... isn't it cute!? I love everything about it... the pears holding hands, the polka dots, the googlie eyes, the clean and simple design... it's perfection!

I used the same general layout for my card, but added in some kraft, and a few more layers. I paper-pieced the pears from Fruity Fun, and added faces from Fun Faces, and the hands and feet are from Create-a-Character. The layers are cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and the sentiment is framed with the stitched heart from the Scrapworks Mini Sunburst Die Set.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS, Neenah Desert Storm CS, Doodlebug Kraft in Color 6x6, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,
Pop Dots, Copics (YG17, YG25, YG03, YG21, E59, E57, E55, T2, T1, T0, R30)

Just Sitting Here...
Happy Friday!!
It's week 2 of inspiration for Your Next Stamp Challenge #14! I really love the sketch Julie has designed for us this time...

Definitely one I will use again! We also have a lovely color combo for this challenge...

... as always, feel free to take your inspiration from just one, or combine them for the ultimate challenge!
This week I've used the sketch, but rotated it. I paired Sweet Spring Jessica with some papers from the DCWV Citrus Mat Stack. The layers are cut out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and I've added stitching detail to the edges of the diagonal strips using the Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die. Jessica is colored with Copics, cut out, and popped up next to the sentiment. I finished it off with some Sparkly Coral Red Gumdrops, but because they didn't exactly match the red on my card, I put a layer of color on them using my R24 Copic Marker.
