It's time for our monthly feature at Your Next Stamp, and this month the Design Team has been challenged to create anything but an A2 sized card.

Confession time... shaped cards FREAK ME OUT!!

I am so intimidated to even try anything shaped or with a fancy fold!

So... I went with a good ol' comfortable square!!

   

The image is Omnia Designs Tea Party, and I've colored it wth Copics. I found this pretty digital paper on Etsy, and I doodled on the table cloth to try and make it match.

After coloring the image, I cut it out with my YNS Circles Dies, and distresses the edges of the layers before putting it all together.

It's Tuesday, which means I have another Two Paper Divas project to share with you!

   

Today I inked up an image from the Happy Mother's Day set... the flowers are actually resting in a vase, but I did some masking to stamp just the flowers. I stamped them twice - once on white cardstock, and again on kraft. After coloring, I cut the heads of the daisies out of the white cardstock, and popped them up on the kraft. Then, I added a little bit of Diamond Stickles on the centers, and finished it off with a big bow.

   

      

I love this sweet sentiment! It will work for just about any occasion... Mother's Day, birthday, cheer up, thinking of you... I love it when a sentiment is so versatile!

Just a very simpe layout to show off this cutie... I used some paper from my Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe pad, and colored his PJ's to match. The little stars are cut from chipboard with my Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card Die.

Welcome to the Your Next Stamp April New Release Blog Hop!!!

     

I'm so excited that you've joined us, and really excited to show off this month's release!! There are lots and lots of cute images, but my very favorite new product this month, without a doubt, is the Stitched Rectangles Dies. This set of dies is a must-have!! I've used them on both of my cards today, and I will probably use them on every card I make from now on! :)

     

Up first, I've colored up the adorable new Jessica with Happy Mail. I love the size of this image! She fills the front of an A2 card so nicely! I've paired her with some papers from my Pink Paislee Pen Pals 6x6 pad, and added the heart border from the Awesome Border Dies Set One. The little thought bubble is from the new Bookworms Rule stamp set, but it was the perfect size for this sentiment in the Jessica set.

After cutting the layers with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, I inked the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. This set includes 5 different sentiments, but this one was my favorite!
