Today, I've colored up two little cuties from the new Roberto's Rascals Beachies stamp set. I love these girlies!! They paired so perfectly with paper from the Doodlebug Under the Sea 6x6 pad. I framed the cute sentiment with a new die from the C.C. Cutters Make a Card Summer die set... that polka dot border is AWESOME!!

YNS June New Release Blog Hop!

I'm so happy you've joined us for this month's release! It's full of sweet goodies... new stamps, new dies, and new gumdrops!! Are you ready to see it all?!
For my first project, I did something a little different... I used just the small snail image from the new Waddles Gardening Fun set, and made some simple envelope seals for my daughters. They have a few pen pals they keep in touch with, and they always like to decorate their envelopes with Washi Tape before popping them in the mail. I thought these would be fun for them to use, too.
I have lots of sheets of labels laying around, so I cut one up and stamped the words "Snail Mail" onto one side of each label. The snails are colored with some fun rainbow hues, cut out with the coordinating Waddles Gardening Fun Die Set, and stuck on the labels with some thick glue dots... I wanted to add a little dimension to the stickers, but not so much that they would fall apart when going through the mail.
Up next, I've used my favorite set from this release... Fairytale Homes. These little girlies are so cute, and thier petite size (about 1 1/2 inches tall each) makes them fit for just about any project!
I colored up the cute little fairy, cut her out with the coordinating Fairytale Homes Die Set, and popped her up in the center of one of the dies from the new Doily Trio One Die Set... soooo pretty! I think I'll be using this set A LOT! :)
The other layers were cut using the Stitched Square Die Set, and I scattered a few of the new MATTE GUMDROPS around the image (these are from the Milk and Cookies Gumdrops Set).

A Snuggly Sneak Peek!
Hiya crafty friends!!
You're in for a treat this weekend... we've got our New Release Blog Hop coming up at Your Next Stamp!!! It all starts Saturday night at 10pm EST, but we are giving you an early sneak peek!!
I adore the stamp set I've used for my card... it's called Snuggles, and it's absolutely precious! It has a very vintage story book feel to me, so I tried to make my card around that theme...
I've paired it with a few different die sets... Stitched Ovals, Stitched Rectangles, and Scrapworks Stitched Strips. I've inked all the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink to go with the vintage look.

"No Line" Ballerina
Hi crafty friends!!
I wanted to show you the cute card I'm sharing today on the C.C. Designs Blog... I'm pretty pleased with this one! ;)
I've used the "no-line" technique to color up this adorable Swiss Pixie Ballerina. She's stamped with Memento Angel Pink Ink, then colored in with Copics. This is my favorite result I've had using the no-line technique so far!! After coloring her up, I went over the details on her face with a Memento Rich Cocoa Marker and white gel pen. I also added a bit of Stardust Stickles to her tutu.
Copics:
Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000, E0000, R30
Hair - E59, E37, E35 and Prismacolor Pencils Dark Umber and Terra Cotta
Shoes, Clothes - R85, R83, R81, RV11
That's all for today!

Rainbows and Happiness
Happy Friday crafty friends!!
It's week two of inspiration for Your Next Stamp Challenge #39!
First up, here is a reminder of the sketch and color combo we are working with...

I used the color combination last week, so this time I went with the sketch, and created a super clean and simple card...
I had so much fun playing around with my Distress Inks to create the rainbow on my card! I masked off the vertical stripe to match the placement on the sketch, and inked the area with Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, and Wilted Violet Distress Inks. I cut the panel out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and stamped the sentiment from Rainbows and Happiness across the card to represent the horizontal stripe in the sketch. It's finished off with a few black Gumdrops from the Spellbound Gumdrops set.
You have one more week to link up to the challenge for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate!
Be sure to check the YNS Blog for all the details and loads of inspiration!
