I thought it would be fun to dress up some pool party favors with the Snorkel Fun Penguin stamp...

    

   

I used the new Cool Tag Three Die Set and coordinating Cool Tag Banner Sentiments set. Each of the tags is sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, with a cute colored penguin popped up in the center. I added a banner to each one, then tied them onto a coordinating pair of goggles with some White Scrappers Floss.

Hi crafty friends!!

I have a cute card to share with you today! I wanted to create a little beach scene with the new Swiss Pixie Teeny Bikini stamp set from C.C. Designs, and here is what I came up with...

  

  

Isn't she cute?!

I paired her with some dies from the new C.C. Cutters Make A Card Summer Die Set, and my Stitched Rectangle Dies from YNS. The sky is inked with Palette Ballet Blue Ink, and the sentiment is stamped right over the top.

Today, we are having a Mid-Month Release Blog Hop at C.C. Designs! Last Thursday, we introduced these new stamps in the CCD Store, but today we wanted to show them off!

The Mid-Month Release features 5 different characters and 4 sentiment sets.


   

I've made two cards to share with you today! The layouts are almost identital, but they are each unique in their own way! :)

First up, I used Blue Jeans for this sweet card...

The patterned paper is from a Pink Paislee 6x6 Pad called Pen Pals. The sentiment is stamped onto a stitched oval from C.C. Cutters Make A Card Die #5, and topped with a stitched heart from C.C. Cutters Make A Card Die #14.

I've used the purple and green polka dot print papers from the C.C. Designs Rainbows 6x6 Pad, and a stitched oval from the C.C. Cutters Make A Card Die #5. I tied a bit of Burlap Stirng across the front, and popped this cutie up on top.

And now for my little creation, I've used the adorable boy from the Splashies clear stamp set...

I kept things clean and simple, and just sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto the background (a rectangle die cut from the C.C. Cutters Make A Card #10 Christmas Die), and added a few bubbles from the Splashies set, also in Tumbled Glass Ink. The adorable little fish was cut from the new Make A Card Summer Die, and I added the face using my Memento Tuxedo Black Marker to ink up just the face of the fish stamp in the Splashies set, and stamping it onto the die cut.

Upsy Daisy Day according to Chase’s Calendar of Events, “is a day to remind people to get up gloriously, gratefully, and gleefully each morning.”  You often hear someone say to a child “Upsy daisy” when they are lifting them up off the ground or onto something. Think of Upsy Daisy Day as a day to forget your troubles, lift yourself up, and be cheerful about all that life has to offer.

   

How cute is that?!

I had never heard of "Upsy Daisy Day" until Julie challenged us to make a card for this special day for our YNS DT Dare.

  

This wasn't a tough challenge at all... so many of the YNS Stamps are uplifting and cheerful, just about any image would do! I decided to incorporate daisies onto my card for Upsy Daisy Day... it seemed fitting! :)

I colored up one of the little cuties from the Fairy Tale Homes stamp set, and cut her out with the coordinating die set. I added a bit of Stardust Stickles to all of her daisies, and popped her up in the middle of one of the beautiful doilies from Doily Trio One Die Set. The center of the doily is sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, and I've also dotted some Stardust Stickles around the edge. The sentiment is from the new Cool Tag Banner Sentiments set.
