A DeLIGHTful Birthday Card
If you didn't already know, I'm sure my last couple of posts have clued you in on my love for corny puns!! And I love that YNS stamp sets are FULL of them! :)
It's time to reveal the new challenge at Your Next Stamp, and I decided to play with an older (but still awesome) stamp set... Perfect Chemistry.
I used the sketch this week...

...and here is my take on it...
How cute is that light bulb paper from the Doodlebug Day to Day pad?! I had to use it and color the silly bulb to match! I kept my layers pretty simple, and just cut them out with different sizes of rectangles from the Stitched Rectangle Die Set.
Copics:
Light Bulb - Y38, Y35, Y32, E50 and BG07, BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000
Eyes - BG0000, C0, C00
Tongue - R22, R20, R30
Mouth - T8, T6, T4
The challenge is just beginning today, so you have TWO WEEKS to play along!! Be sure to link up for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate!!
Check out the YNS Blog for all the details, and lots more inspiration!

A Cheesy Birthday Card!
It's time for another Design Team Showcase Series at Your Next Stamp! Since it's YNS's birthday month, our showcase is all about
BIRTHDAYS!!
I made a super cheesy card today! :)
Tell me I'm not the only one who thought of cheese as soon as I saw the new Circle Panel Die?!? I've had cheese on my mind ever since it was released, so I had to pair it up with this funny mouse from Quirky Animals Set One, and a very CHEESY sentiment!!
I inked the edges of the panle with Mustard Seed Distress Ink, and popped it up on a white base. That's a LOT of yellow, so to break it up, I added a piece of white cardstock to the center panel for the sentiment. And the quirky little critter is popped up on the top!

Turtley Awesome
Hi all!!
I'm back to share another card I made using the new C.C. Designs A2 Circles Stencil. This time, I used it to create a bubbly background for the adorable sea turtle from the Under the Sea set. First, I sponged a piece of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distess Ink. Then, I layed the stencil over the top, and sponged again using Twisted Citron, Broken China, and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks. After I removed the stencil, I stamped more bubbles using stamps from the Splashies stamp set and Tumbled Glass ink again. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment onto the tag cut out from the C.C. Cutters Make A Card Summer #16 Die, and tying it on with some burlap string.
