Berry Much
Hello crafters! I can't believe it's been a whole week since my last post! YIKES! Where does the time go???
I have another clean and simple card to share today, and I think I love it! :) The image and sentiment are both free digis from Paper Smooches.
Supplies: Berry digital image and sentiment from Paper Smooches;
Neenah Desert Storm CS; Neenah Classic Crest Solar White CS;
Pop Dots; Black Zig Writer Pen; Copics
Pretty simple... I printed the sentiment directly onto the Desert Storm cardstock, then used a black Zig Writer to draw a frame 1/2" from the edges of the card. The berries are seperate images, printed onto white cardstock, colored, then popped up on dimensional adhesive dots.
Copics Used:
Berries: RV25, RV23, RV21
Leaves - YG25, YG03, YG01
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
iCopic Weekly Challenge #79 - to use copics from the RV family
CAS-ual Fridays #49 - a sketch
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hello Sunshine!
If you follow my blog, you know I'm slightly obsessed with polka dots. Well, my favorite polka dot background stamp recently lost it's appeal... it doesn't seem to want to cling to my acrylic blocks anymore, and since it's rubber, it can be very hard to line up the pattern. So, I decided to look for a clear stamp that was similar. In my quest to find a replacement, I came across Paper Smooches. WOW! Such fun, silly, whimsical stamps... I'm totally crazy about them! Digging around their blog I found FREE digis, and they even host challenges every two weeks. So, of course I had to jump in on the fun!
The current SPARKS Challenge is to make a card taking inspiration from this photo:
So, I created a very clean and simple card using my new Paper Smooches goodies - Geo-Graphic and some free digis:
Supplies: Paper - all unknown scraps; Paper Smooches Digital Stamps (sun and sentiment);
Versamark Ink; Paper Smooches Geo-Graphic Stamp Set; Ribbon; Pop Dots; Copics
Copics Used:
Rosy Cheeks - R01
Shading - Y32
Thanks for stopping by today! I would love to know what you think!

If you're not familiar with it, that crazy acronym stands for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club #67. Every week on Splitcoaststampers, My Favorite Things hosts a sketch challenge, and I could not resist the current sketch! Check it out...
Simple, clean lines... just my style! I used a new-to-me Pure Innocence stamp from My Favorite Things called Being Cute Is What I Do. Isn't she sweet?? I paper-pieced her shirt with cardstock from the Lilly Anna Collection from Red Rubber Designs to coordinate with the card. The rest of the image is colored with Copics. And, instead of using two circular embellishments like the sketch suggests, I added two ribbon loops in their place. Pretty simple, and totally cute!
Supplies: MFT PI Stamp; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Neenah Solar White CS;
Bazzill Romance CS; Bazzill Great Lakes CS; Lilly Anna PP; Ribbon; Pop Dots;
Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch; Copics
Copics Used:
Skin - E21, E00, E000
Hair - E27, E25, E23, E21
Jeans - B37, B34, B41
Grass - YG25, YG03, YG01, YG00
Hair Ties - R85, R83, R81
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I would love to know what you think!
Cardabilities Sketch #53
Today, Karan at Cardabilities has a brand new sketch for you! And I am thrilled to be making my first post as a member of the Cardabilities Design Team with today's sketch!
Here it is...
...and here is my card...
Supplies: There She Goes "Puppy Love" stamp set; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Neenah Solar White CS;
Bazzill Maltball CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Fancy Pants Winterland 6x6 PP; Versamagic Wheat Ink;
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink; Spellbinders Petite Ovals and Classic Ovals Nestabilities dies; Paper Piercer;
DMC Floss (3371); Ribbon; Pop Dots; Copics
Copics Used:
Noses - E25, E23
Fur - E34, E31, E30
Collars - R89, R59, R29
Grass - YG63, YG61
Sky - BG000, BG0000
I went with a 5" x 5" square card for this sketch, and used the adorable Puppy Love set by Torico from There She Goes. The image, pawprint, and sentiment are all stamped on white cardstock, but I sponged some Versamagic Wheat Ink onto the edges, so it would coordinate with my patterned paper better. The polka-dot and pale blue papers are from the Fancy Pants 6x6 paper pad called Winterland. And, I added a little hand stitching once again... slowly using up that DMC floss I've been hoarding for years!
Be sure to check out the Design Team Reveal on the Cardabilities Blog for loads of inspiration using this sketch!
I hope you'll get a chance to get crafty and play along... thanks for stopping by!
