Cute Cupid
Anything goes at this week's Flutterby Wednesday Challenge! I have had this card made for a bit, and thought I would share it today and enter it into the challenge! The image from Whimsie Doodles is called Cupid's Arrow, and once again, I've paper-pieced the clothes and headband. This paper is from My Mind's Eye Life of the Party 6x6 pad... LOVE the colors in this collection!
(Supplies: Neenah Desert Storm CS; Georgia Pacific White CS; Paper Co. Chocolate CS;
My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Life of the Party PP; Versamagic Jumbo Java Ink; Ribbon;
3/4" Circle Punch; Crystal Stickles; Copics)
Copic Colors Used:
E21, E00, E000 - Skin
E37, E35, E33 - Hair
R22, R20, R30 - Arrow, Dress
E59, E57 - Arrow
E41, E40, 0 - Shading
The edges of all cardstock is inked with Versamagic Jumbo Java Ink, and the scallops were created by punching circles from a 3/4" circle punch, and cutting them in half. A little Crystal Stickles on her wings finished it off!
Thanks for stopping by today! I would love to know what you think!
Mojo and Meljen's
I'm playing along in a couple more challenges today... Mojo Monday Sketch #226, and Meljen's #94 {hearts}. I liked the simplicity of this week's Mojo sketch - just my style! I used another adorable freebie from Meljen's Designs called Sweet Little Donkey. Meljen's challenge is to use hearts on your project, and since this little guy already has hearts doodled all around him, he was a good fit! The heart border is from one of The Angel Company sets called Sweet Day Cupcake, and is stamped in Memento Ladybug Ink. I used a white gel pen to highlight his eyes, and you can't tell from the photo, but there is also some sparkle added to the heart doodles with a Stardust Glitter pen.
(Supplies: Neenah Desert Storm CS; TAC Scarlet CS; Georgia Pacific White CS;
Meljen's Designs "Sweet Little Donkey" Digi; TAC "Sweet Day Cupcake" rubber stamp;
Memento Ladybug Ink; Ribbon; Signo White Gel Pen; Stardust Glitter Pen; Copics)
Copic Colors Used:
E43, E42, E41 - Body
E41, E40, 0 - Muzzle
E49, E47, E44 - Hair, Feet
Ro2, R01, R00 - Ears, Cheek
R89, R29, R24 - Hearts
FYI - If you have been looking for The Angel Company stamps to make a comeback, keep your eye out for the opening of Red Rubber Designs... it will be an online retail store opening sometime this month! :)

A Mabelle Stamp and Another Sketch...
I purchased this adorable rubber stamp from Mabelle R.O at Whimsy and Stars Studio a few months ago, and am just now inking her up for the first time! Mabelle was a popular designer for The Angel Company, and now has her own line of rubber stamps and digis. If you love cutesy images and coloring (like me!), you should definitely check out her store!
For this card, I used Sketch Challenge #369 from Splitcoaststampers.

Lollipop Girl
I have been crazy for challenges lately... what a great way to keep my mojo going! Today's card is for the January Sketch for You to Try. I used the adorable Lollipop Girl image and sentiment from Whimsie Doodles. I love paper-piecing the clothes on these cuties... it reminds me of playing with paper dolls as a kid!
