Like Peas and Carrots
It's release day at All That Scraps, but before the new stamps and dies are stocked in the store tonight, we have one more day of sneak peeks for you! Today, the Design Team is showcasing the new Webbie's Words sets. For my card, I used Baby Cakes... I love these little veggies, I just wish I had a punny setiment to go with them! Instead, I paired it with a sentiment from an older AmyR set called Spring Sentiments.

Baby Tiger
My little guy has two favorite things that never leave his side... his "Blue" - a blue cotton blanket with his name embroidered on the corner that he was given on his 1st birthday, and his "Baby Tiger" - a stuffed lion that I received as a baby shower gift for him. Yes, a lion, that somewhere along the way he named Baby Tiger. And even though he loves playing with his big boy Legos and Transformers, Blue and Baby Tiger are always right beside him.
When I saw this month's release for All That Scraps, I knew I had to make him a special "Baby Tiger" gift... so, here's what I came up with.
I used the lion stamp from the new Sweet November Safari Pals set, with a sweet sentiment from the new AmyR Welcome Little One Sentiments to make a little wall hanging for his room. I've had this 8x8 frame sitting in a box for ages, just waiting for a purpose! I used a sheet of 6x6 patterned paper from the Lily Bee Handmade Tiny Tablet, and adhered it directly to the mat that came in the frame. "Baby Tiger" is colored with Copics, cut out, and popped up in the corner. Pretty cute, right? I think it would make a sweet baby shower gift also!
Here is the frame with the real Baby Tiger, so you can see where my color inspiration came from...

Tuesday Morning Sketch #179
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have enjoyed the holidays with your loved ones!
I am happy to be back with a new Tuesday Morning Sketch! I was invited to stay on the team for another 6 month term, and how could I say no??? This is such a wonderful, supportive group, and of course... I LOVE the sketches!
These talented ladies are also staying on the team:
And we are also welcoming a new member to the team, the lovely Jenee Todd!
Be sure to visit everyone, and give them a warm welcome / welcome back!
Now, onto the sketch...

We also have a new sponsor joining us this week... Floppy Latte's Digital Designs. Not only are they offering a prize for this week's winner, they also generously provided the Design Team with images to use for the sketch. I chose this sweet Rag Doll digital stamp. I'm a little annoyed that I forgot to "ground" her after coloring her in... but I didn't notice until I was uploading the photo! UGH! I hate it when I find a mistake, and it's too late to fix! Other than that little mishap, I think she turned out pretty cute... What do you think?

YIPPEE!!! :)
I am so thrilled to be joining this team of talented women! I have admired so many of these designers in blogland, and I can't believe I'm teaming up with them! And, I'm not alone!
