Tomorrow is New Release Day at Your Next Stamp, and the Design Team will be celebrating with a Blog Hop! But, how about a little sneak peek before the big release???
I was really excited when I saw the new Spectacular set... the timing couldn't be any more perfect! My 5-year-old daughter, Abigail, just got a prescription for her first pair of glasses... she picked out very cute frames, and was bummed she didn't get to wear them home! I'm so glad she's excited about them! So, this card is for her! I colored the little girl to look like her, and used her favorite color.

For my card today, I used the new Eat Dessert First set from the Sugar Kissed Cottage line. Here is what the stamp set looks like...
... and here is my card. I'm not sure how I feel about it... I had an idea in mind when I set out to make this card, and it didn't turn out anything like I had imagined! It happens that way sometimes!
I colored these cute little girls with Copics to match the striped paper from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan 6x6 pad. Then tied on a big bow and finished it off with a button and twine.

Tuesday Morning Sketch #182
If you are here for Day 2 of the Lil' Inker New Release Blog Hop, please scroll down.
It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch, are you ready?

Doodle Pantry is back as our sponsor this week! I've used one of their cute images called Mister Monkey, and matching digi paper.
I rotated the sketch this week, so I could make it look like the monkey is swinging from a vine. I botched the sketch a bit though... I had already started to stick my layers together when I realized I forgot to round the corners! Oh, well, it still looks cute, right? The "vine" is a piece of braided jute twine, and Mister Monkey is fussy cut and popped up in front of it. The sky was sponged using a cloud die and Palette Reflection Blue Ink.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Wausau Black CS; Versafine Onyx Black Ink;
Palette Reflection Blue Ink; There She Goes "Jungle Out There" sentiment; Braided Jute;
Foam Adhesive; Copics
Copics Used:
Monkey - E27, E25, E23
Hands, Feet, Tummy, Face - E11, E00, E000, YR0000
Cheeks - R00
Banana - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11, Y00
Be sure to check out the line up from the rest of the team at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog. I hope you'll join us this week!
