Tuesday Morning Sketch #185
It's Tuesday, and that means it's time for another sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches! This week's sketch was designed by ME! :) I hope you like it...

This week is also our judged challenge, which means there is a little twist with the sketch... you must do something "LOVEY DOVEY"... so use the sketch to create a Valentine, Anniversary card, or anything to do with love. Just don't forget the twist, or you won't qualify for the prize! We have one of my favorite sponsors back with us this week... Bugaboo is offering some free digi's to this week's winner!
Now onto my card... I have loads of Bugaboo images, but not a single one is "love" themed! So, I had to get creative with what I had on hand. I used Critter Balloon Mouse, and paired it with a sentiment from an old Angel Company set. I added a border with my Memento Tuxedo Black Marker to frame in the image and sentiment, and the patterned papers are from the Doodlebug Love Birds 6x6 pad.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Doodlebug Love Birds 6x6;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad; Memento Tuxedo Black Marker; Ribbon; Pop Dots; Copics
Copics Used:
Mouse - W5, W3, W1, W0
Ears, Nose - R20, R00, R0000
Balloon - R59, R29, R24, R22, R20

I Ruff You - SCS Sketch
It's been ages since I've played along in any of the challenges on Splitcoaststampers, but this week's Sketch Challenge caught my eye. And even though I've been a bit under the weather this week, I managed to get a card made for it. I used The new I Ruff You rubber stamp set from Your Next Stamp, along with the new Fishtail/Banner Dies. The patterned papers are from the Fancy Pants Beach Bum 6x6 pad, and the edges are inked with Versamagic Jumbo Java. The cute little pup is colored with Copics, and then I masked over him so I could sponge Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around him for the sky.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; TAC Navy CS; Fancy Pants Beach Bum 6x6;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Tumbled Glass Distress Ink; Jumbo Java Ink; Felt Heart; Copics
Copics Used:
Fence - E44, E43, E42, E41, E40

Dog - E40, Blender

It's Tuesday again, and that means there's another fabulous sketch from Melissa up at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog!

Freckled Fawn is back as our sponsor this week! If you are a fan of Washi Tape, you'll want to take a look around their store... they have a huge variety, along with some other fun embellishments.
Now, if you follow my blog, this card might look familiar... I made a very similar card with this image for my daughter when she got her new glasses. Then, Karen asked me if I could send her some sample cards using the new YNS images. Since the first card had already been given to my daughter, I wanted to whip up a similar one using the scraps I had left over, and this sketch was perfect for that! The images and sentiment are from the new Spectacular set from Your Next Stamp. I also used the new Fishtail/Banner Dies.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Doodlebug Hello Spring 6x6;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Ribbon; Circle and Scalloped Circle Nesties; Paper Piercer; Pop Dots; Copics
Copics Used:
Skin - E11, E01, E00, E000, YR0000
Hair - E55, E31, E30, E50
Mouth, Tongue - R30, R00, R000, R0000
Bracelet, Hair Ties - BV04, BV02, BV01, BV00
Be sure to check out the line up from the rest of the team at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog. We had a great turn out last week... almost 50 entries! WOW! Let's see if we can beat that this week!!
Crafty Gals - February
For my All That Scraps Preview, please scroll down.
It's the 5th of the month, and that means it's time for another Crafty Gals Challenge. This month, our challenge was to CASE the talented Jeanette. Oh my goodness... I spent so much time looking through her old blog posts trying to pick a favorite card to CASE. It was a tough choice - I love Jeanette's style! I finally decided on this cute card she posted back in October...

I love the layout and color combo she used here, and I knew I had similar patterned papers in my stash, so this was the one I settled on. Those of you that know me, know I have a REALLY hard time mixing patterns! Jeanette does it all the time, and does it so well! There's no better way to learn, than to copy a pro! :)
I also needed a cute girly image, so I pulled out my favorite Pure Innocence girl, Being Cute Is What I Do. The patterned papers are all from the My Mind's Eye Moments 6x6 pad. I copied Jeanette's card pretty close, but changed up the embellishments since I didn't have a flower to match. I've paper-peiced her shirt, and added pleats with my Copics. I also added some texture to her pants after coloring them by soaking a scrap of denim with Copic blender solution, and dabbing it on the pants.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; TAC Navy CS; MME Moments 6x6 Pad; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink;
Silver Spiral Clip; Silver Brads; Ribbon; Denim Scrap; Copic Blender Solution; Foam Adhesive; Copics
Copics Used:
Skin - E11, E01, E00, E000, YR0000
Hair - E27, E25, E23, E21
Jeans - B99, B97, B95, B93
Shoes - E27, E25, E23
Pleats, Ground - T2, T1, T0

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'm also entering this card into a few challenges:
Mashi Panda - All That Scraps Preview
The February Previews have started over at the All That Scraps Blog. Today the Design Team is featuring the new Mashi's Muffins stamps. I've used Mashi Panda for my card, and I can tell you this stamp will be getting a lot of use from me! My 5-year-old daughter LOVES pandas! She has several stuffed panda "friends", a panda folder for school, and even dressed up as a panda for Halloween a couple years ago.
I've combined the image with some cute digital paper I found on Etsy called Bamboo Forest from Jazzy Patterns. It's colored with Copics, and the sentiment is from Down on the Farm Sayings.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Neenah Desert Storm CS; Bamboo Forest Digi Paper;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Foam Adhesive; Ribbon; Copics
Copics Used:
Black - 100, T7, T6, T5, T4, T3, T2
