It's time for a new Clearly Inspired Challenge over at the Clearly iStamp Blog, and this time it's an easy one... ANYTHING GOES!

     

I've had this little bee from the Bumbles set printed and waiting to be colored, so this was the perfect chance to put him to use! That's right... another bee card! I seem to be drawn to bee images lately! This one was colored with Copics, smothered in glitter, and cut out with my Circle Nestabilities. The sentiment was printed, then cut with my Your Next Stamp Fishtail/Banner Dies.

     

Seriously, how cute is this little guy?!

I colored my Fhiona to match this fun paper from the My Mind's Eye Happy Day 6x6 pad. I tied on a big bow, and popped Fhiona up on the card. After stamping the sentiment, I added a little sparkle to the word "celebrate" with my Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. It shows up a teeny bit in the photo, but I'm still NOT impressed with this pen... it just isn't sparkly enough for me! Oh well... Fhiona is the star of the show here! :)

Let's get started! Here is my card using Layla, a new set illustrated by Macy Wong. I kept it simple... she is colored with Copics and paired with some pretty paper from the My Mind's Eye Memorable 6x6 pad. The sentiment was stamped onto a banner cut from the Fishtail/Banner Die Set, and the card is finished off with some stitching. Isn't she sweet? And you know I love a good punny sentiment! :)

It's time for another Tuesday Morning Sketch, and for you YNS fans passing through, my card includes another sneak peek for you!

This one was a real challenge for me! I could not figure out what to do with those banners! I tried a couple of different combos of paper that just didn't work for me, so, I finally settled on using ribbon! This cute little guy is from the Your Next Stamp Smiley Happy Critter Crew Set 3 (being released TONIGHT!). He's colored with Copics, and I added a little sparkle to his wings with an Atyou Spica Clear Glitter pen... I can never get that to show in photos though! I think from now on, I will stick to using the loose glitter... despite the mess, it just looks way better!

I'm giving you a peek at a new rubber stamp set called Flu Bug Fhiona. I have a serious soft spot for the Fhiona's... I can't resist that sweet face, and I love how easy she is to color and paper-piece. As soon as I saw this new Fhoina, I thought she looked like a little candy-striper, so, I dressed her accordingly! :) Patterned papers are from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh 6x6 pad, and the edges are inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I used the YNS Fishtail/Banner Dies for the sentiment, and even dusted off my paper crimper to add a little texture!
