Happy Saturday crafty friends!!

It's my turn over on the Stamp Annething Blog today, and I finally had a chance to color up Tony - Let's Hang Out from the July Release!

  

I think he is such a cutie, and I love how his hair turned out!!

I used a scrap of Doodlebug Day to Day paper on the edge of the card, and sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on the white side.

Tony is colored with Copics, and popped up in front of the blue backdrop.

The sentiment is from one of my beloved There She Goes stamps, sadly no longer available. :(

It's challenge time at Your Next Stamp!!

  

Here are the fun sketch and color combo we have to work with this time...

  

        

   

I've taken inspiration from both for my card this week, although, it is a very loose interpretation of the sketch...

    

These big balloons are from the Party Pets set, and I colored them using the "no-line" technique... I first stamped them in ink colors that coordinated with the Copic colors I was using.

The senitment is from the Stacked with Fun set, and is embossed in white embossing powder.

For my first card, I used the ever popular Silly Monsters in their new Silly Birthday Monsters set! I colored this cutie to match some paper from the new Birthday Girl 6x6 Paper Pad, and created my card base with the new Scalloped Rectangle Die Set. I finished it off with a few Gumdrops from the new Nautical Matte and Pretty Peacock Matte sets!

On my next card, I used the new Mini Circle Panel Die to make a sweet little 3x3 card... I LOVE this die! Even more than the original size... it's too cute!!

 I used some really cool green crushed velvet cardstock from Doodlebug to add some texture to the peekaboo background, and to cut out the little numbers from the Bold Numbers Die Set. I colored up a cute pup from the Party Pets set, and popped him up to finish it off.
