I used Brittney to make a simple card for my stash... you can never have too many birthday cards on hand! I added the sentiment from the new Lorelei stamp that we introduced yesterday...

This birthday themed release is perfect timing for me, since my twin girls have their birthday this month! I used Lorelei to make Abigail's card...

Frame It Theme Week

It's Theme Week at Stamp Anniething, and our challenge this time is to

"FRAME IT!"

Today is my turn to share some inspiration for the challenge, so I've colored up the lovely Vanessa, and "framed" her with a polaroid die cut...

I paired her up with papers from the Simple Stories A Charmed Life 6x6 Pad, and added a little heart button with some hemp cord to embellish.

It's time for a new challenge at Your Next Stamp!

We've got a fun sketch and beautiful color combo for your inspiration...

Use just one, or combine the two... it's up to you!

I went with the sketch, as I am usually inspired to do. I colored up sweet Phoebe from the new Spec-Tacular Phoebe and Friends Stamp Set. I paper pieced her dress, and cut her out with the coordinating Die Set. She is popped up in a Circle Die, and the rest of the layers are cut with the Stitched Squares Dies and Stitched Rectangles Dies. I inked all of the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink, and added a cute sentiment from Cool Banner Tag Sentiments.

YNS Critter Crew Showcase!

If you are as big a fan of the Critter Crew Stamps as I am then you are in for a treat this week!! The YNS Designers are featuring each of the three Critter Crew sets, and today, our focus is on Smiley Happy Critter Crew 2!

Of all the times I've colored up these cute critters, I can't ever remember coloring the funny little bird! So, of course that's who I had to feature on today's card!

After cutting out the Stitched Rectangle, I sponged a circular spot on the background with some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. Then I stretched a little burlap string across the card, and popped the bird up so he is resting on the string. Added a sentiment, and a few yellow Candy Corn Gumdrops, and that's it... simple and silly!
