All That Scraps May Preview
Did you miss me??? It's been a while since my last post... just needed a little break to deal with some family stuff and health issues. Now that things have calmed down a bit, I'm ready to get back to crafting!
Perfect timing too, since today is Release Day at All That Scraps! The design team is showing off the newest C.C. Designs stamps, and I chose to use May Day Birgitta for my card. Isn't she cute? I've colored her to match this cheery paper from the Doodlebug Flower Box 6x6 pad, and added a little layered felt flower cut from the C.C. Cutters Five Point Flowers Die. The sentiment is from the new AmyR Sunny Sentiments set.

Tuesday Morning Sketch #195
FOR MY YOUR NEXT STAMP SNEAK PEEK, SCROLL DOWN
Happy Tuesday sketch fans. It's a fun week for me at Tuesday Morning Sketches... I get to represent two of my design teams, as Clearly Digi Stamps is our generous sponsor this week.
This week's awesome sketch was designed by our very own Debbie.
This was a really fun sketch, and definitely challenged me to do something different. It's a unique layout that I never would have come up with! I scrunched the sketch down to fit a standard A2 card, and ended up not leaving enough room for a sentiment, but I can always squeeze one in later! I didn't have the exact shape that the sketch shows, so I just rounded the corners on the piece instead. The image is from a set called Scoops by Clearly Digi Stamps. I paper pieced the cone with kraft cardstock, and did some shading with my Copics. The ice cream is also paper pieced with patterned paper from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection.
Supplies: Neenah Desert Storm CS; Hammermill White CS; Bazzill Maltball CS; Dear Lizzy Neapolitan;
Brown Bamboo Twine; Button; Corner Chomper; Petite Oval Nestabilities; Copics (E42, E41, E40)
That's it from me today. Be sure to check out the line up at the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blog for inspiration.
I can't wait to see what you create!

Clearly Digi Stamps April Blog Hop
Happy Sunday stampers! It's the third Sunday of the month, and that means it's time for the Clearly Digi Stamps Monthly Blog Hop! It seems that so many areas are still experiencing winter-like weather, and we thought everyone could use a little sunshine right about now. So, our theme for this month's hop is SUNNY YELLOW!
If you have arrived here from Jerusha's Blog, then you are in the right place! If not, you can start over at the Clearly iStamp Blog to follow the entire hop. You don't want to miss a single stop, because EACH designer is giving away the digital set they are featuring to one lucky commenter from their blog! That's right - one prize on each blog, but you have to leave a comment to be entered to win!
I am featuring the adorable Tweet Houses set today. I printed the image twice - once onto kraft cardstock, and again on white cardstock. I colored the bird on the white cardstock, cut him out, and glued him in place on the kraft birdhouse. The birdhouse was also cut out, popped up on foam adhesive, and a little piece of twine is tied at the top. The patterned papers are from the October Afternoon Sidewalks collection, and I've inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Yellow is a tough color for me to use a lot of, so it's just an accent color on my card...

Supplies: Neenah Desert Storm CS; Hammermill White CS; Bazzill Maltball CS; October Afternoon Sidewalks;
Antique Linen Distress Ink; Brown Bamboo Twine; Pop Dots; Circle Nestabilities; Copics
Copics Used:

It's release day at Clearly Digi Stamps, and there are loads of cute new sets to choose from! I've got a couple of samples to share using some of the newbies, but you can check out more eye candy from the rest of the Design Team over at the Clearly iStamp Blog.
First up, I had the pleasure of working with this sweet set called Woof by Lisa Lara. I have a serious weakness for her illustrations... I think I might have every one of her sets! They are adorably irresistible! I used the dreaming doggy image from the set, and colored him with Copics. That cute bone patterned paper is included with this digi set.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; Woof Digital Paper; Ribbon; Pop Dots; Nestabilties Label 8; Copics
Copics Used:
Dog - YR23, YR21, Y21
Nose - T7, T6, T5, T4, T3
Ground - T5, T4, T3, T2
Bone - E84, E81
Next up is a set illustrated by DeeDee Anderson, called What's Cooking? This adorable little chef has a variety of goodies to hold on his tray, but I went with the pizza... My dad was the "pizza man" in an italian restaurant when I was a kid, and the red checked digital paper in the set reminded me of those days! I printed the digi paper in two different sizes... a larger print for the card, and a smaller print to paper piece his ascot and apron. The rest of the image is colored with Copics.
Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Wausau Black CS; What's Cooking Digital Paper; Memento Black Marker;
Your Next Stamp Banner/Fishtail Dies; Buttons; White Scrapper Floss; Copics
Copics Used:
Skin - E21, E00, E000, YR0000
Shoes/Buttons - 100, T7, T6, T5, T4
Shading/Tray - T3, T2, T1, T0
Pizza - Y38, Y35, Y32, E09, E08, 100
That is all for today! If you came by for one, or even all three of my posts today - THANK YOU!
