C.C. Designs Review - Pinwheel Birgitta
It's time to review the C.C. Designs July Release, and today the focus is on Christine's cute characters.
I've inked up Pinwheel Birgitta a second time to create today's card, and paired her with some cute pinwheel paper from My Mind's Eye "Happy Day". She is colored with Copics, and her pinwheel is paper-pieced with a scrap of paper from Doodlebug "Springtime". The sentiment is from the new AmyR Sweet Summer Sentiments, and is stamped onto a C.C. Cutters Ticket Die cut from Bazzill Peanut Cluster Cardstock. I used the larger of the tickets, cut it in half, and zig-zag stitched it to the main panel.

Sweet November Preview - Mermaids
Time for another peek at the stamps being released this month from C.C. Designs! Today the Design Team is showcasing the new Sweet November Mermaids.
I had so much fun coloring up this gorgeous mermaid! I kept the card pretty simple to show off all the detail on the image... Her tail is colored with Copics using the pointillism technique to give it a scaley texture, then I added a little glitter to the darkest parts of the tail. The paper is from an American Crafts 6x6 pad called Color Crush, and as soon as I saw this sheet, I thought it would be perfect for an under-water scene. The bubbles are from the My Favorite Things Blowing Bubbles set, and are stamped around the mermaid with Versamark Ink. I finished off my simple card with a bow and sentiment from AmyR Simply Enchanting Sentiments.

Supplies: Hammermill White CS; Bazzill Card Shoppe Licorice Twist; American Crafts Color Crush 6x6; MFT Bubbles;
