I have a fun little treat bag to share with you today!

   

   

Isn't it cute?! I used pre-cut gift bags from the Dollar Tree... it was a package of 10, and they were with the bridal and baby shower supplies. I thought they would be fun to decorate for little goodies for the kiddos.

      

   

That adorable bat and sentiment are from the new Meoples Hallo-weenies set from C.C. Designs. I used some scraps of green paper and stamped them with the Bat Background Rubber Stamp, then inked the edges with black ink. The tag was cut from the new C.C. Cutters Make-a-Card #8 Halloween Die, but I trimmed it to fit the sentiment. The tag is tied on with a bit of Beetle Black Doodlebug Twine. 

   

So simple and sweet, and now I just need to fill them with something fun for the kiddos to have on Halloween. :)

It's always fun to send a little something for the kiddos teachers on the first day back to school, and this year we decided on pencils... teachers never can have too many pencils for their students! This month's freebie from the 2 Cute Ink Newsletter was the perfect image to decorate some tags for the packages of pencils.

     

    

The set is called Nerdy Pencils, and I love that it included a boy and a girl pencil! I colored up the pencils with my Copics, and the kiddos each picked out some school themed paper for their tags. I used the C.C. Cutters Make-a-Tag Die for the tag, and my YNS Notebook Edge Die for the top of the lined papers. Then they each chose a sentiment for their tags... are of them all from the Sugar Pea Designs Teacher's Pet stamp set. I tied the tags on with a bit of Doodlebug Twine.

I've used the sketch this time around with the pup from the new Party Animals set. I paired him with a sentiment from the Wheelie Fun set, and stamped it onto one of the smaller banners from the new Banner Die Set. I've cut the layers out with several sizes of the Stitched Rectangles Die Set, and finished it off with a few Apricot Gumdrops.

I have been wanting to try out a shaker card for quite a while, so when Karen "dared" the design team to make a shaker card for this month's YNS Design Team Dare, I was super excited to finally give it a go!

      

   

I was anticipating it taking me a while to figure out, but it's actually pretty easy to put together!

     

  

I used the Stitched Squares Die Set to cut the top layer of my card, and then the Circles Die Set and Stitching Marks Circles Die Set to cut the opening for the shaker. I cut clear acetate to fit behind the top layer, and some foam tape to pop it up and make room for the sequins. To decorate the front, I colored the kitty and present from Party Animals, and stamped a sentiment from Wheelie Fun onto a cut out from Fishtail/Banner Die Set One.

     

The most challengeing part was probably getting a decent picture to show off the sequins inside the shaker!

I have two projects to share with you today... first up I've colored the new Jessica with Kitty. Jessica is one of my favorite stamp characters... so sweet and so fun to color! On this card, I've paired her with the new Banner Dies, along with the Circles Die Set, Stitching Marks Circles Dies, Stitched Rectangles Die Set, and Fishtail/Banner Die Set One for my sentiment.

   My next project uses a stamp from my favorite set from this release... I am so excited about Phoebe with Wagon! Fhiona was the character that first drew me to YNS, and now her little sister, Phoebe, joins the family!

    

   

How cute is this set!?!

So many fun images! They can be used individually, or combined for a variety of different projects!

You know how much I love a punny sentiment, so I couldn't resist using the "PAW-SOME" sentiment with the adorable pup for a cute little treat package.

    

   

I cut the Treat Topper Die from kraft cardstock, and decorated it with some Doodlebug paper. The sentiment is stamped onto a cut from Fishtail/Banner Die Set One, and the little pup is framed with a circle from the Circles Die Set, and backed with a scalloped circle from the Open Scallop Circle Die Set.

There are no furry friends in my house, so I filled the bag with cute little dog bone shaped graham crackers that my kiddos like!
