Today is our Design Team Dare at Your Next Stamp! This month, it's all about

SQUARES!

   

This is a pretty simple and straight forward challenge, and was the perfect reason to use my Stitched Square Dies! I've used lots of other goodies on my card today, but NO COPICS!! Can you believe it!? It's pretty hard for me to do, but I absolutely LOVE the new Create a Christmas Tree Die and it really needed to be the star of the show!

   

  

I cut the tree out in two different shades of green from the Doodlebug Swiss Dot Rainbow 6x6 Pad, and then layered them up to give my tree a fuller look. It is "decorated" with Matte Gum Drops from the Milk and Cookies and Circus Fun sets, and added some sparkle to the star with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.  It's finished off with a little stitched detail from the Tiny Stitches Stitched Line Die, and a sentiment from the new Sending Joy stamp set.

I've got a preview of the C.C. Designs October Release to share with you all today!!

   

This sweet little girl is Peppermint, and she's rubber!!!

I paired her with some cute candy print paper from the Doodlebug Sugar Plums 6x6 Pad. It's sort of a busy print, so I kept the rest of the card pretty simple. She is popped up in front of a circle cut from the C.C. Cutters Circle Die Set, and the sentiment is from the new Holly Jolly Sentiments Clear Stamp Set.

Welcome to the YNS October Release Blog Hop!!

   

  

The time has finally come to reveal the entire October release! There are so many fun and fabulous new stamps and dies, you'll want to be sure to visit each blog along the hop to get inspiration for all the new products!

  

I've used two very adorable sets today...

Up first is a card I made with the Cup of Happiness Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. This set has lots of fun elements to create a little scene around the sweet mug. I paper pieced the mug with some kraft cardstock, and added an extra little marshmallow sitting on the edge of the mug. I've also used the Stitched Rectangle Dies and Circle Dies for cutting the various layers.

My second card features a new Phoebe set - Winter Wonderland Phoebe! I colored two penguins and cut them out with the coordinating Die Set, then paired them with a sentiment from the Cup of Happiness set, and some Stitched Square Dies.

I hope your weekend is off to a great start! After a busy week of helping at the kiddos school book fair, I am enjoying catching up on some coloring this weekend!!

There were lots of Copics involved in this one!! I changed up the colors with each of the greens just a little bit to add some depth to the wreath. After coloring, I decided to fussy cut the image and pop it up on the card. It's so simple, but I love the way the coloring turned out, and didn't want to take away from it with any embellishments.

I've got some Your Next Stamp challenge inspiration for you today!

I really loved the sketch this week, and had an idea right away of what I wanted to make... that doesn't happen very often!

  

I colored up the adorable Sprinkles in a tea cup from the Sprinkles Coffee and Tea Stamp Set, and paired her up with a pretty doily from the Doily Trio Die Set. The sentiment is stamped onto he snallest die from the Bookmark/Tag Die Set - Large, I just had to mask off the exclamation point in the sentiment to make it fit! The pretty papers are from the My Minds Eye Memorable 6x6 Pad.
