Here is a look at the sketch and color combo for Challenge #55...
And here is my take on the sketch using the sweet Love Muffin Mini Stamp Set. I stamped the image with YNS Black Olive ink, and colored it with Copics. I loaded the frosting with glitter, and stamped the sentiment onto the smallest of the Bookmark/Tag Dies.

Meet Violet!
Hello, and welcome to Day #2 of
Stamp Anniething's January Release!
We are starting off the new year with a whole slew of adorable new image stamps for your collection!
Meet Violet!
Violet is quite the crafty girl and loves to paint and create things!
Violet will be available in the store FRIDAY along with the other 2 stamps we show you this week!!

I ADORE Violet!! She stole my crafty heart as soon as I saw her! I decided to use her to decorate the cover of an Art Journal for my daughter... but I love it so much, I'm not sure I want to share!! ;)
The background had me a bit out of my comfort zone, and took a few tries to acheive the look I was going for, but in the end I LOVE how it came out! I just borrowed my kiddos Crayola watercolor paints, made a simple rainbow border, and then splattered some extra droplets all over. The word "create" is done with black chipboard letter stickers, and I added a part of the sentiment from the new Samantha stamp (that we will officialy introduce to you tomorrow!).

C.C. Designs January 2017 New Release Blog Hop!
Today is RELEASE DAY for the new JANUARY Stamps at C.C. Designs. As you have seen from our Preview Days, these new stamps revolve around LOVE and Valentine's Day. There are 3 new Little Pixie stamps, and 3 new Roberto's Rascals stamps. We also have a new sentiment set called XOXO Sentiments. Another big announcement.....we are going back to the pre-cut rubber for our stamps. We'll keep the sentiments clear so they are easy to line up on your cards.
I colored up one of the sweet new Little Pixies for my card today. I combined papers from the Doodlebug Sweet Things 6x6 Pad, and the Pink Paislee Pen Pals 6x6 Pad... I think they go together perfectly! I popped the cute girly up next to a sentiment from the new XOXO Sentiments set.

I've colored sweet Vanessa with Copics, and paper-pieced her dress and head-band. I used my last bit of this fabulous camera print paper from the Simple Stories Daily Grind 6x6 pad, and added some vellum behind the film strip and polaroid dies. The sentiment she comes with was just perfect to finish off the card!

This one is called Heart Balloon, and I've colored her up with Copics. I paired her with a simple sentiment from the new XOXO Sentiments set, and popped her up on the largest cut out from the C.C. Cutter Shapers #2 Die Set.
