Happy Friday everyone!!

It's time for week 2 of inspiration for Challenge #56 at Your Next Stamp!

I've used the sketch for my inspiration this week...

We also have a beautiful color combo this time...

Choose one, or combine the two... it's up to you!

Here is my take on the sketch... I adore the new Hugs and Kisses Paper Pad! The tea-cup paper is so cute, I wanted to feature it on it's very own card! I chose a sentiment from Sprinkles Coffee and Tea to go with it, and added some Magical Pastel Sparkly Gumdrops.

Happy Saturday crafty friends!!

Today is my first solo post on the Stamp Anniething Blog, so be sure to head over there to leave me a little love!

I colored up the sweet Kelly - Book for my card. I thought the book print paper from the Echo Park Paper & Glue 6x6 pad was just perfect to pair her with, and I had to use this fun sentiment from the YNS Bookworms Rule Stamp Set.

Book Monster!

For our Monthly Design Team Dare at YNS, we were challenged to use 3 colors on our creations. ONLY three, but neutrals were okay.

This was a great way to use up some of my Doodlebug paper scraps... I found 3 colors that had a monochromatic print, and colored my adorable Silly Book Monster and his books to match.

I've used my Stitched Rectangles Die Set, and Circles Die Set to cut the different layers, and added the sentiment embossed in white.

YNS January 2017 Release!!

Welcome to the first YNS Release of the new year!!

We've got LOTS of new goodies to share with you today!

My first project is featuring the Cute Postcard Stamp Set. I paired it with some Doodlebug Sweet Things paper, and added a sentiment from Cool Tag Banner Sentiments.

Supplies: Hammermill White 80# CS, DCWV Brights Mat Stack CS, Doodlebug Sweet Things 6x6,

Doodlebug Gingham Linen 6x6, Versafine Onyx Ink, Doodlebug Ladybug Twine, Pop Dots, Copics

I also used the Stitched Square Die Set and Stitched Rectangle Die Set to cut my layers.

For my second project, I made a cute little bookmark with the new Get Your Fiction On stamps and coordinating dies.

Supplies: Hammermill White 80# CS, Wausau Black 80# CS, Doodlebug Fun in the Sun 6x6, YNS Black Olive Ink,

Tumbled Glass Ink, Versamark Ink, White Embossing Powder, Pop Dots, Copics, Ribbon, Twine

I love the new reading themed stamp sets in this release, and this sentiment is probably my favorite!! I thought it would make a great bookmark paired with the Bookmark/Tag Die Large.

I colored the little bookworm with Copics, and popped him up in the center of a Circle Die inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS STAMP!!!!!!

A few months ago, Ann asked for some ideas for upcoming releases, and this was my request!! A cute girl with a HUGE Copic Marker!! Isn't she perfect?!

I loved the Art Journal I made for my daughter SO MUCH (yesterday's post), that I decided I should have my own! :) And what better image than Samantha to grace the cover!!

I used one of my very favorite color combos to color her up, and matched her to some Doodlbeug paper scraps. The lined notebook paper is from Simple Stories, and I've added some twine and YNS Gumdrops for embellishing.

Isn't she pretty?? :)
