Over the next 12 days, the YNS designers will be sharing ideas for the holidays, and today is my turn to share!

  

I put together a cute Indoor Snowball Fight Kit!

     

   

I think this is such a fun little gift idea, perfect for when the kiddos are on winter break from school! And since we don't get real snow in Southern California, I know my kiddos will enjoy this indoor version! :)

I had planned on making my own pom-poms, but lucked out when I came ascross these premade ones at Target! They're so fluffy!! I put them into a metal bucket, and added a cute tag.

   

 

The tag features the Cool Tag 4 Die Set, Double Stitched Hills Die Set, Be Merry Stamp Set, and Holiday Joy 6x6 Paper Pad.

I needed a more rectangular shaped tag to fit the snowman, so I cut a second tag out of white felt, cut the lower portion off with the Double Stitched Hills Die, and adhered it to the lower part of the paper tag to cover the stitching. I backed it all with a solid piece of cardstock, and I was able to customize the size for exactly what I needed!

Happy Release Day YNS Fans!!

This month's release is full of Christmas and Winter fun!! I love every bit of it!

 

Up first, I want to show you the set I am MOST excited about... Merry Everything and the matching Merry Word Die. This set is beautiful, simple, and perfect for mass producing, or just simplifying Christmas Card making... I might actually get around to making my Christmas cards this year! ;)

  

   

I used it to create a shaker card, along with Holly Berry Red Ink, paper from the Holiday Joy 6x6 Pad, Stitched Rectangle Die Set, and Fishtail/Banner One Die Set. The glitter confetti was a lucky find at my local Dollar Tree! I added a few small Merry and Bright Glittered Gumdops with some pieces of the confetti, and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the Merry Word Die for some extra sparkle!!

  

  

I never know how much glittler to add to the shaker cards, so this one is a bit bulky, but super sparkly!!

  

   

Up next I have a cute winter pup from the Hello Winter set. He is stamped with Black Olive Ink, and colored with Copics. I paired him with some simple Doodlebug Snowflake print paper, and used the Stitched Square and Stitched Square Frame die sets to create the layers.

I am so excited and honored to be included in this amazing release!! The Polka Dot Pals have always been a favorite! Who knew how much MORE fun they could be by adding these adorable expressions to their faces!!
