It's time for a new challenge at Your Next Stamp!

Our challenge is to use patterned paper on our creations... easy! The hardest part for me was choosing which of the cute YNS Paper Pads to use!

  

I decided on this adorable star print from the Fairytale Magic pad, and it goes perfectly with Waddles and his star friend from the Waddles Rainbow Fun stamp set! I used the largest star from the Stripetastic Stars Die Set, and inked the edges with Sunflower Yellow Ink.  The sentiment is from the Washi Tape Sentiments set.

Isn't this new release FUN?? As much as I am loving the snow this winter, these images have me thinking SPRING!

  

For today's card, I got to color up the sweet new Easter Basket stamp. I love those little chicks!!

  

   

I've also used the awesome new Flower Panel Die... these panel dies make card fronts so EASY!! I dressed it up by adding some small Sunset Sparkle Gumdrops to some of the larger flowers. I also added some sparkle to the bow on the basket with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.

I'm BACK!!!!!!

  

After a long hiatus from crafting and blogging, I am so happy to be back... did you miss me?!? ;)

 

And what better time to return than during National Craft Month, AND with a new release from Your Next Stamp!! The New Release Blog Hop starts at 11am EST on March 7th, but I've got a little sneaky peek for you right now!!

  

I used an adorable new set called Egg Hunt... it includes a couple of cute bunny images, but I loved this little chick in the set the most! I stamped him with my favorite Black Olive Ink Pad, did some masking to make him sit on top of the large egg from the set, and colored it up to match this cute paper from the Happy Spring 6x6 Paper Pad. I kept it pretty simple by just cutting my layers with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and added a little burlap twine for the finishing touch.

I'm playing along with this month's DT Dare at Your Next Stamp, and it's all about the BLUES!

  Shades of blue, that is!!

   We were challenged to use the newly released goodies, and create something with the color blue.

 

As soon as I saw it, I wanted to use the cute whale from the new Totally Narly set with this whale print paper from the Doodlebug Anchors Aweigh pad! They are meant for each other!! I broke up the whale print by overlaying the new Wavy Panel Die in a bright blue. I covered one section in white cardstock, stamped with the sentiment in Blueberry Breeze Ink.

Welcome to the YNS May New Release celebration!!

I have had a blast playing with this month's release!! The die sets in this release, and the Seas The Day 6x6 Paper Pad are some of my new favorites!!

There are so many fun goodies to share with you, so let's get started!!

   

On my first card, I really wanted to focus on the Porthole and Anchor Die Set... it's so fun!!! I paired it with the anchor print paper from Seas the Day, and some red striped paper from my stash. The anchor is tied on with burlap twine, and I added some Sugar White Gumdrops to the holes around the porthole. That cute sentiment is from the new Yo Ho Ho set.

   

  

Up next, I've featured the cute policeman from the new Freeze set. Lots of fun sentiments in this set, but I thought the simple "Thank You" was nice! I also used more of the Seas the Day Paper, coordinating Gumdrops, and the new Rounded Squares Piercing Die Set. I sponged some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink behind the image to help him stand out.
