Cupcake Cutie
I FINALLY made something!! Sorry for the long absence, but I have been in a bit of a rut creatively lately... just haven't felt inspired to do much. Leave it to Paper Wings and another great sketch from Maria to get the creative juices flowing again!
So... I finally took the plunge and invested in some Copic Markers! And now, I am hooked! I want every color!! I have been practicing with them a bit, but this is the first card I have made with an image I colored with the Copics. What do you think? This cutie is from the set called Cupcakes Cuties by Mabelle R.O. for The Angel Company. So much fun to color! I botched the sketch a little, and didn't leave enough room for the sentiment, but I am still happy with how it turned out!
All supplies are from The Angel Company, unless otherwise noted. If you would like to know more about The Angel Company stamps, or wish to place an order, please contact me!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I would love to know what you think!

Paper Wings March Blog Hop
It's time for another blog hop sponsored by Paper Wings, the online community devoted to The Angel Company's demonstrators, and home of the only all-Angel Company Gallery. This month's theme is SPRING! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the hop!
I had so much fun with this project! The basket is made from The Angel Company's Premium White Cardstock. It's a nice heavy weight, and I wanted the basket to be sturdy enough to fill with goodies! I used Mia's Cottage patterned cardstock to decorate the basket... so bright and "springy", don't you think? I even made the "Easter grass" for the filler... I just cut the Key Lime Mia's Cottage Cardstock into 1/8" pieces, then ran it through my Paper Crimper.
Once the basket was done, I decided to make a coordinating card. I just got the Spring Friends stamp set, so I had to ink it up! And of course, it's perfect for the theme of the hop! I inked all the edges of the Hot Pink Cardstock with Versamark Ink. The sentiment is punched out with the 1" Circle Punch, attached to a tag from the Mia's Cottage set, and popped up on Pop Dots.
Be sure to visit the blogs of these talented ladies, to see what Spring themed projects they have in store!
