Happy Birthday, Nolan!
My kiddos went to a birthday party for a friend this weekend, and this is the card I made for him...
My little guy loved this card so much, he wanted to keep it for himself! I guess I will be making another one of these, since his birthday is just around the corner! The image is a free digital from Dustin Pike... he has lots of images perfect for little boys, and they are fun to color, too! I colored it with Copics (just can't put these markers down!), and added a sentiment from The Angel Company's Rolling By set. The inside says "...to wish you a Happy Birthday!" Perfect for this image, right?
Thanks for looking! I would love to know what you think!

More Copic Coloring
Woo Hoo! Posting 2 days in a row! Yay me!! I have been coloring a bunch of images with my Copic markers to get some practice with them... now it's time to do something with all these colored images I have laying around! (The ones I'm not embarrassed to share anyway!)
Kept it clean and simple again today. The mouse is from a retired set from The Angel Company called Little Darlins. I stamped the dots from Background Soup with Brilliance Moonlight White Ink, and inked the edges of all cardstocks with black ink. The sentiment is from Everyday Events, which is retiring at the end of June. You can see the entire list of retiring stamps here. Be sure to get your favorites before they're gone! Card A Day In May
Finally had some time to play along with the Card A Day In May challenge on TAC's Savvy Projects Blog. If you haven't checked it out yet, be sure to head over to see all the great cards everyone has been making with Heather Scott's sketches so far this month! I was hoping to be playing along everyday, but you know how that goes...
Here is this week's sketch:
And here is my card:
I LOVE this image! I bought this set (Boys Will Be Boys) because of this image... it reminds me of my "baby" who is turning 3 next month! He has a blue blanket that goes everywhere with him! I followed the sketch pretty closely, just changed the dimensions a little for my sentiment to fit. Overall, a very clean and simple card. I have been practicing coloring with my Copics... how am I doing?

Tune In Tuesday
I'm actually posting this on the right day! Today is Tune In Tuesday on the Savvy Projects Blog, and the theme is.... KRAFT CARDS!
I love Kraft, and use it all the time! For this card, I paired it with Black Cardstock for a simple sympathy card. The pattern was made by stamping the Diamond Ornament stamp repeatedly in Palette Noir Ink on a square of Kraft Cardstock. The scallops on the black are made with Cloud Scissors, and the sentiment is from the Joyful Notes set.

Monday Sketch... on Friday!
I played with Heather's Monday Sketch this week, and am just now getting the chance to upload my photos!
Here is her awesome sketch:
And here is the card I made:
I have been wanting to make a baby card with this image from Spring Friends since I got this set... so here it is! The little lamb is stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa ink on White Ultrasmooth Cardstock. I cut him out, and popped him up on this cute paper from Heidi Grace. All cardstock edges are inked with Versamagic Sahara Sand. The "Welcome Baby!" is pieced together using two seperate sentiments from the Ordinary Greetings set. And the Bone Scrappers Floss was colored with a Copic Marker to match the cardstock... I LOVE that you can do this with copics!
