Heather's Monday Sketch
I saw Heather's sketch posted on The Angel Company's Paper Crafting Community this morning, and knew right away what I wanted to do with it!
I love this image from Rolling By! And it goes perfectly with this sentiment from You Are Awesome! I colored this awesome little guy with Watercolor Pencils to match this fun paper from the Just Like Dad collection. Then I used a White Gel Pen to add highlights to the car, and Glossy Accents on his sunglasses! You can see it a little better in the close up below, but I had a tough time capturing it on camera.
All supplies are from The Angel Company. Contact me if you would like more info, or to place an order!
Thanks for looking! I would love to know what you think!

Paper Wings February Blog Hop
It's Blog Hop time! Paper Wings is a great online community devoted to The Angel Company demonstrators, and every month, they host a blog hop! I am happy to be playing along! This month is all about Hostess Sets!
My projects feature the Level A Hostess Set called Happy Today. (You can earn this set FREE when you host a FUNshop that totals $100 or more!) I chose this set because I think it is super cute, and I have yet to see anything done with it! For this card, I used the sweet girl image from the set. Notice anything missing? The original image has the girl holding a flower in her right hand, but it just wasn't working for me, so I masked it off!
Here is a gift bag and matching tag made with the set. I cut a piece of a brown bag and stamped the flower trio all the way across the strip. I used my Paper Crimper on the piece of black cardstock before attaching it to the bag. The tag was also cut from a piece of brown bag, backed with black cardstock, and tied on with a piece of black and white gingham ribbon.
For this last card, I used the sentiment from Happy Today with images from Happily Grateful. The butterfly is colored with Watercolor Pencils, then I added Crystal Stickles over the wings to make them sparkle. The vine is stamped using Versamark Ink.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you feel inspired to use this great set! And be sure to hop over to these other blogs to see what these talented ladies have created!

Sunshine
Today's guest designer on The Angel Company's Savvy Projects Blog is the FABULOUS Barb Foster! She is featuring a beautiful set called Sunshine. I knew I wanted this set as soon as I saw it in the Fall Supplement, but just recently got it (THANKS Amy!) So here is what I have been up to with these stamps...
I kept this card very simple... the sunflower is so pretty, I just didn't think it needed a lot of extra stuff! I stamped it with Palette Burnt Umber, and colored it with Watercolor Pencils... this one is so much fun to color! Can you see the distressed edges on the Saguaro Cardstock? I don't have one of those nifty paper distressing tools, so I used an old key! I just rubbed the edges of the cardstock into a notch in the key! Works like a charm!
I originally started out to make a scrapbook page here, but as it came together, I decided to keep it simple, and use it to frame a photo. I had the perfect picture too... these are my daughters posing for me last fall wearing sunflower barrettes in their hair. I used my Scor-Pal on the Kraft Cardstock to create the diamond pattern, then used a Hydra Sponge to rub Versamagic Jumbo Java Ink all over the cardstock. This really makes the texture stand out! I used Brown Cardstock for the base, and also for matting the photo. The sunflower is stamped with Palette Burnt Umber Ink, and colored with Watercolor Pencils. After coloring, I cut it out, and used Pop Dots to attach it to the photo. Now all I need is a frame!
Thanks for visiting! I would love to know what you think! And don't forget to check out Barb Foster's creations on the Savvy Projects Blog... she will WOW you!

More Simply Sweet...
This is such a fun set, I wanted to play with it a little more... Plus, it is one of the only two sets I have that are being featured this month on the Savvy Projects Blog!
This was the first image that caught my eye in this set... I love his little face! I decided to try and use up some scraps left from other projects to make this card. When I found colors that worked together, I colored the pup with Watercolor Pencils to match. The edges of the Kraft and Dark Sky cardstocks are inked with Versamagic Jumbo Java. I used the same ink with Background Soup to add the corner details to the Kraft cardstock. The last touch was a bow using Mimi Ribbon!

Simply Sweet
This is the first chance I've had to play along with the You Make February Fabulous Promotion! Each day, a different guest designer on The Angel Company's Savvy Projects Blog is featuring a different stamp set. Today's featured set is Simply Sweet, and here is a card I made...
Isn't this teddy the cutest?! I wanted to use cheery colors for this card, so I went with Toodle Loo Paper and Cardstock. The image is colored with Watercolor Pencils, and then highlighted in somes areas with a white gel pen. The balloons are covered in Glossy Accents to make them shine... you can see it a little better in the close up below. I also used my Scor-Bug Embosser to add some detail around the sentiment.
Normally, you would have to host a $500 FUNshop to earn this Level C Hostess set, but because it's one of this month's featured stamps, you can grab it for only $14.96 with a $20 purchase!
Be sure to check out today's guest designer, Debra Miller, on the Savvy Projects Blog.
