Post-It Clipboard
It's {TAC} Wednesday! The second and fourth Wednesdays of every month, the Totally Awesome Chicks team will be bringing you lots of crafty inspiration using The Angel Company stamps. I have been super busy preparing for an upcoming craft fair, so I am sharing one of the items I am making to sell at my booth...
(Supplies: The Angel Company "Tag Tidbits"; The Angel Company Rustic Chic Paper;
Palette Burnt Umber Ink; Post-its; 4" Coaster; Pen; Ribbon; Binder Clip; Mod Podge)
These Post-It Clipboards are so easy to make, and so cute, right?? I used a 4-inch square coaster, covered in paper from the Rustic Chic pad. The binder clip also has a scrap of paper glued to it to match. The "just a note" on the post-it pad is from Tag Tidbits, stamped in Palette Burnt Umber ink. And of course, it needs a matching pen... I just rolled a small strip of the same paper and inserted it into the barrel of the pen. And there you have it! These would make great gifts for co-workers, teachers, students, anyone... don't you think?
Be sure to check out the rest of the Totally Awesome Chicks blogs to see what they have been up to with their TAC stamps....

Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to help spread awareness, we are having a little blog hop, hosted by Deb and Paula-Kay! We would love to have you hop with us! Anyone is welcome to join in using the in-linkz code at the end of this post.
I made two cards using some fun Breast Cancer Awareness images from Whimsie Doodles... First up is one of the newly released images, Save The Hooters. The polka dot backround is from TAC's Backgound Soup set, stamped in Versamagic Pink Grapefruit ink. I did some paper piecing, and added a little pearl to finish it off.
(Supplies: Kraft CS; Neenah White CS; Bazzill Quartz CS; Bo Bunny Flamingo Double Dot;
Versamagic Pink Grapefruit; Versamagic Jumbo Java; Ribbon; Adhesive Pearl; Copics)
For this card, I used one of last year's BCA images from Whimsie Doodles, Hope Fights. Lots of pink on this one! I used TAC's Uptown Girl paper, and her skirt and scarf are paper pieced to match.
(Supplies: TAC Uptown Girl Paper; DCWV CS; Neenah White CS;
Scor-Bug Embosser; Ribbon; Circle Nestabilities; Copics)
100% of the proceeds from all of the Breast Cancer Awareness images at
Whimsie Doodlesare donated for Breast Cancer Research. How cool is that!?
Enjoy the hop, and thanks for stopping by! I would love to know what you think!
New Release Day at Whimsie Doodles!
The wait is over... new digis from Whimsie Doodles are available today!! Here are a couple samples I made with just two of the new images... you can see the entire collection of new images on the Whimise Doodles Blog!
For this first one I used Skinny Witch Flying. I drew the moon in behind her by tracing the shape of one of my Circle Nestabilities, and coloring it in with Copics. Looks pretty neat, huh? I also used my Atyou Spica Clear Glitter Pen to add some sparkle to the buckles and spider web... I couldn't capture it on camera, but it looks awesome in real life!
(Supplies: K&Co. Patterned Paper; Bazzill Grape Slush CS; Neenah White CS;
Black Scrappers Floss; Ribbon and Button from my stash; Copics)
