Happy Valentine's Day!
The kiddos and I made all of the Valentine's for their classmates this year... we finished them up yesterday, but I forgot to take pictures of Abigail's and Eli's! Oops!
I do have these to share... here is what Olivia made for her first grade class...
The image is from the Valentine Gift Tag set from Whimsie Doodles. After I colored the pencils on each tag, we glued them onto a scalloped rectangle backing.
We found these cute Valentine pencils at Target in the Dollar Spot, along with some washi tape, which we used to attach the pencils to the backs of the tags.
Pretty simple... we whipped up 30 of these in no time!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Dance in the Rain
I love umbrella and rain themed stamps... can't tell you why, I've just always had a thing for them! This cutie is no exception, and I thought she was perfect to pair up with this Happy Rain digital paper from Jazzy Patterns. I've colored her with Copics, paper pieced her umbrella, and popped her up on the card. The sentiment is from the new AmyR Rainy Day Sentiments set.

The perfect theme for any last-minute Valentine's Day cards!
I printed out this cute cupid image - Aiming For Love - for my card.

Just a Note... and some news!
I have been a fan of 2 Cute Ink for such a long time... I was so lucky to have a chance to work with the line of clear stamps as part of the Lil' Inker Designs DT in 2012, and now I am thrilled to have been invited to be a part of the new 2 Cute Ink Challenge Team! You'll want to head over to the *new* 2 Cute Ink Challenge Blog and become a follower, so you don't miss our first challenge starting Monday, February 17th!
I whipped up a simple little card to go along with my news, using the adorable Penguin Doodle image. I couldn't find him in the shop, Heidi has added this little guy back into her 2 Cute Ink Etsy store!! (I've added the link!) There are also lots of other cuties to choose from, and Heidi is constantly adding more!
The layout was inspired by the current Freshly Made Sketch, and uses the colors for this months MFT Color Palette Challenge.

Sketch Saturday #296
It's time for another fabulous sketch at Sketch Saturday! This week's layout was designed by Jen, and is perfectly clean and simple...

I could use this one over and over!
Simon Says Stamp is also back as this week's sponsor! One lucky winner will receive a $25 Gift Certificate!
I rotated the sketch this time around to fit this sweet Awww Thanks image from Tiddly Inks. She is colored with Copics, with some clouds sponged behind her in Memento Summer Sky Ink. And rather than a banner, I used a die-cut sun to embellish the corner. Simple and sweet!

YNS Cloud Die, Memento Summer Sky Ink Pad, Pop Dots, Copics
