Warm Winter Greetings with Holiday Sparkle
It's another day of special features for the Christmas Series at Your Next Stamp!
Today is all about Holiday Sparkle!
I stamped this adorable bunny with my Almond Latte Ink Pad, so I could color it up using the "no-line" technique. I love how it turned out!
Supplies: Hammermill 80# Color Copy Cover, Neenah 80# Desert Storm, Echo Park Keepin' Cozy 6x6 Paper Pad,
YNS Almond Latte Ink Pad, May Arts Burlap String, YNS Stitched Rectangles Dies, Foam Adhesive, Copics
Without the lines showing, I was able to give the little birdie the look of a cardinal to match my background paper! The sentiment was also stamped in Almond Latte.
I used a dark brown pencil to highlight the eyes, mouth, and whiskers.
Copics:
Bunny - E43, E42, E41
Coat, Headband - BG34, BG32, BG11, BG10
Bird - R29, R27, R24, R22, Y38

Paw-some Pup
Today begins our Christmas Series at Your Next Stamp!
Over the next 5 days, the Design Team will be featuring 5 different stamp sets! If you already have these sets, you've got some fabulous inspiration coming your way!
If you don't have these sets, you're in for a treat too! All of the featured sets are 50% off!!
First up, we are featuring Paw-liday Pups.
I don't know about you, but I like to get a lot of mileage out of my stamp sets. I decided to show you how you can use some of these sets AFTER the holidays!
Supplies: Hammermill 80# Color Copy Cover, Neenah 80# Desert Storm, Light Blue Recollections CS, YNS Winter Plaid 6x6,
YNS Black Olive Ink Pad, YNS Circles Dies, May Arts Natural Burlap String, Foam Adhesive, Copics
I used the cute pup popping up out of Santa's boot... but by coloring it neutral it can be any old boot! I paired the image with a sentiment from Box Full of Cuteness (I love how many YNS stamps work so well together!), and the gingham print is from the Winter Plaid 6x6 Paper Pad.
Copics:
Boot - E44, E43, E42, E41

Buttons the Mouse
Sorry for the long absence...
Life has been rough, and I haven't been feeling very crafty lately, so haven't had much to share. Let's hope I'm breaking that streak with today's post!
It's my turn to share some new release inspiration on the YNS Blog, and I've got a clean and simple cutie for you!
This is Buttons the Mouse from the new Holiday Hugs set...
I just love him!!
I've been drawn to gold accents on cards lately... I know it's nothing new, but it only recently appealed to me.
I found some gold cardstock in an old Stampin Up! kit in my stash, and the gold string is DMC floss from my cross stitch stash! So fun to make use of these things!
The green pattern is a scrap of Doodlebug paper that I also found in my stash... it matched the bow around Buttons perfectly, so I designed my card around that piece!
Buttons is colored with Copics, and popped up on a Circle Die cut. I used a gold gel pen to color the little bell on the top of his hat.
Copics:
Skin - E43, E42, E41
Ears, Nose, Tummy - R30, R000, R0000
Bow, Green Stripes - G07, YG09, YG07, YG06, YG11
White Stripes - T1, C00
I have a few challenges I'm entering this into:
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Buttons (okay... this might be a stretch, but the mouse's name is Buttons!)
Well, that's about all for now... hopefully I'll see you back here real soon!
Thanks for stopping by!!
Fabulous Fall Wreath
It's my turn to share some New Release inspiration over on the YNS Blog today.
I've colored up one of the pretty images from Fabulous Fall Wreaths...
Supplies: Hammermill 80# Color Copy Cover, Neenah Desert Storm 80#, Doodlebug Fall Friends 6x6 Paper Pad,
YNS Black Olive Ink, Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Foam Adhesive, May Arts Burlap String, Copics
I colored the wreath with Copics, using the sheet of patterned paper as my inspiration for the colors. I highly recommend getting the coordinating die set for these images... I love to fussy cut, but this one was pretty tedious!
My patterned paper layer was cut using the Stitched Rectangle Dies, and then wrapped with some May Arts Natural Burlap String. The top layer is cut with the Stitched Square Dies, and lightly sponged with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. THe cute wreath is popped up right in the middle of the square.
Copics:
Twig Wreath - E27, E25, E23
Red Mushrooms - R89, R39, R37, R35
White Mushrooms - W3, W1, W0
Orange Leaves - YR04, Y38, Y35, Y32
Yellow Leaves - Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11
Green Leaves - YG67, YG17, YG25, YG03
Acorns - E49, E47, E44, E43, E42, E41
Owls - E43, E42, E41
Bow - BG05, BG02, BG01, BG000

Witchy Molly
Halloween is just around the corner, and this cutie landed in the Tiddly Inks Shop in plenty of time!
Supplies: Hammermill 80# Color Copy Cover, Bazzill Snapdragon, K&Co. Halloween 12x12 Paper Pack,
YNS Fab-BOO-lous Stamp Set, Versafine Onyx Ink, Foam Adhesive, Copics
If you've followed my blog for any length of time, you'll recognize this paper... it's my favorite print for Halloween cards, and I've been hoarding it for years!
I colored Witchy Molly with Copics to match the patterned paper. I drew the moon with Copics also, fussy cut Molly, and popped her up in front of it.
Copics:
Skin - E11, E00, E000, E0000, R30
