Bread Box

It's time for another Totally Awesome Chicks Wednesday!! I have a yummy project for you today, using The Angel Company stamp set called Autumn Leaves.

 Bread Box 1

I am always looking for new ideas for making cute packaging for gifts and goodies. I found the tutorial for this Bread Box on the Scor-Pal website. Isn't it cute? It is made from a full sheet of 8.5" x 11" cardstock... no waste! Gotta love that! And it is the perfect size for an adorable mini loaf of homemade Pumpkin Bread - a family favorite! This would make a great little hostess gift, or a sweet treat for a new neighbor, don't you think?

Here is a side view of the box... I cut the pumpkin image out using an oval punch, and backed it with a scalloped oval punch, then popped it up with pop dots. The edges of the patterned paper are inked with Versamagic Gingerbread ink.

What a marvelous idea! The colors are great together, love the idea of sponging the edges of the patterned paper.
