Tuesday Morning Sketch #178
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I hope you are enjoying the holiday with your family! We're doing things a little different this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches... there is NO SKETCH! This is an open challenge, but with a little bit of a twist... we want you to challenge yourself! Maybe there is a technique you've been wanting to try out, or a fancy fold you've never done. Or maybe (like me) you came across an awesome crafty project on Pinterest that you've been wanting to re-create... well this is your chance to give it a try!
As soon as I saw these hair clips made by the talented Alicia Thelin, I knew I had to make some form of these for my girls! They love to wear pretty flowers and bows in their hair, and I thought it would be a perfect stocking stuffer!

Supplies: Lil' Inker Mini Bow Die; Glitter Felt; Buttons; Thread; Hot Glue Gun; Plastic Barrette
I found some really fun sparkly felt at Michael's, and repurposed some old plastic barrettes that had some not-so-cute Christmas ribbons on them. The bows were cut using the Lil' Inker Designs Mini Bow Die. I assembled the bows, and hot glued them to the barrette. For extra reinforcement, I threaded the button on around the felt bow and barrette... I don't think it's going anywhere!
The Tuesday Morning Sketches team will be judging this weeks entries, and choosing which one we feel really went above and beyond. So be sure to challenge yourself this week!
Thanks for stopping by!
