Halloween Treats
I'm back to share a quick little treat package I made for the twins to take to their Halloween party at school!
These were inspired by this project I found on Pinterest. The blogger did not give dimensions for her treat holder, or where to make the score lines, so I figured it out for myself! Here's how I did it...
The cardstock is cut to 5" by 3", and scored at 1 3/4" and 2 1/4". I've marked the scorelines in black so it's easier to see...
If you have an older Scor-Pal like me, then slide the cardstock over to the 1/4" mark, and score at 2" and 2 1/2".
I used my corner chomper to round all the corners. The smaller panel will be the front of the treat holder, so that is where I stamped the sentiment. The one I chose is from the Lil' Inker Designs Best Witches set. On the 1/2" strip in the center, I used Scor-Tape to hold the treats in place. The toppers are printables from Tic Tac Togs on Etsy. They are matted on a black scalloped circle, and held on with glue dots, but only on the top half. The lower half does not have adhesive, so you can just tuck the front panel underneath.
Here is a close up of one of the treats all finished, and closed up.
Supplies: Versafine Onyx Black Ink; Wausau Black CS; Bazzill Grasshopper CS; Bazzill Snapdragon CS;
Bazzill Marmalade Blast CS; Hammermill White CS (to print digis); Nesties Circles and Scalloped Circles;
Scor-Pal; Scor-Tape; Glue Dots
These are so cute, so easy, and can be adapted for any occasion!
I'm writing this in a bit of a hurry, so if my instructions don't make sense, please leave me a comment, and I'll fix it up tomorrow!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
